So one of my friends wanted to know how to do grass
I'm not very good at it but I will share my way

I whipped up a quick background for this, don't judge me

Now the first thing to remember is that because the earth is round, the horizon is gonna be curved
So draw a curved hunk of green

Then I go in with a dark blue-green color and airbrush the bottom

Then I use the color picker and grab the middle ground color

And use that color to draw some grass

After that, I merge the two grass layers

Then to tie the background and foreground together, I grab the yellow from the background and airbrush it on

Then I duplicate the entire grass layer

On the duplicated layer, lock the transparency and put that yellow color all over it

Then I set the blending mode of that layer to "soft light" and lower the opacity

After that, just add some minor details to your liking, and you're done

Crappy I know but I'm half asleep and only doing the bare minimum effort
I did doodle something quick on top, though

I'm very tired but maybe I'll make a full piece like this since I like the idea
After I drink coffee tho
