I started wondering abt the poke resorts practices when I noticed you needed a certain amount of Pokémon to make a new island

I got suspicious...

So I made this

"Alola! Welcome to the Poké Resort! It's were your Pokémon stay instead of in a cramped PC!"

"Oh, she just makes sure each Pokémon gathers the minimum number of beans. She monitors other activities too!"

"Here, they can explore and find items!"

"They can even help you grow berries!"

"So are you excited for your Pokémon to stay here?"

"No! This is Pokémon abuse! Can I not send them here!?"

"Good luck with that, kid. The government deemed PC boxes wasteful and cruel, so they approved this. They're required by law to go here, so I guess you'll just never be able to catch more than 6 Pokémon."

I'm aloud to retake one summarize assessment every semester, and you can be sURE AS HECK I'm doing this one

I already rewrote it

Problem is I don't actually think it's better than the last one...

BUT I get to have the English teacher review it with me (I just hope that means he'll give me pointers and let me further improve it...)

I have a meeting with him already

But it was totally stressing me out all weekend bc I knew my rewrite was still gonna be no good

And the weird thing is we both worked together on a social studies project that revolved around WRITING A WELL STRUCTURED PARAGRAPH AND ANALYZING AND INTERPRETING and she frickin gave us a Yoda computer sticker, literally the highest reward you can get in her class.  Yet we both can't do the same thing in English...

It's because my English teacher used to teach college isn't it

And he held on to those expectations
