Sooo the theme was mermaids

And literally

I think this might be the best anatomy I've ever drawn

Although the sketch was better than the line art lol

Soooo it's gonna kinda look weird

Bc I'm too scared to finish it

Maybe I'll do it later but I'm running out of time so I'm submitting it as it is

So the only thing I did was where the light landed (which I did kinda badly hughhhhhh)

I'm experimenting bc its been a while since I've used colored pencils

I kinda inspired my mermaids from quartz_andromeda and Lartspoon
(No I am not actually gonna tag famous ppl to see this drawing nu uh)

Ninfia is a platy which is a rly common tropical fish and also one of my favs

Ella (yes that is Ella with rly weird hair) is some kind of shark I guess? I'll change that later if I ever draw them like this again

And yeah I'm sorry that this is totally unfinished, but I think it looks kinda cool right???

Anyways I can't wait for this book to end I wanna make a new cover

And yes, I realize I could change books or covers right now but I'm stubborn and I wanna finish this all the way thru and keep the cover for nostalgia

Oh wait I never talked about the concept for the drawing

It was the first thing that popped into my head lol

I have no idea what they're doing or what that orb is

All I know is that they're in a weirdly lit cave and are kinda nervous
