- Ravenfur leaves the Clan when Darkkit and Foxkit are four moons

- Darkpaw is apprenticed to Hazelfall, Foxpaw to Bouldertooth
- Vixenleap disappears in early Greenleaf, being presumed dead
- Foxpaw injures her leg and is held back while Darkpaw continues to train
- Just when Foxpaw's leg has healed, a patrol she's on on with Darkpaw is attacked by a stray wolf-like dog
