i wanted to write something that symbolizes my excitement for this december (im going to midwest furfest for at least 2 days) but i dont have plot ideas so here

excitement fizzed in darkpaw's belly like a trillion fireflies, dancing beneath her fur. her claws tore up her mossy nest as she laid awake and restless.

needlestar had promised that she would be going to the gathering when she asked earlier that day, but it was only the half-moon! it seemed like eons till the gathering would roll around. but she was prepared to wait and, hopefully, needlestar wouldn't forget about it.
