over-detailed stories.

you all know what im talking about. the stories that confuse you so much you can hardly read them. heres an example if youre confused:

i just- im confused.
and heres a paragraph from a well-detailed story, taken from "saving sable" by the lovely SerenadingBlackbirds :

i, and i assume many of you, can smoothly read this and understand every word, but its still detailed! i consider this a well-detailed story. easy to read, but still professional.

but the first story shown is, as i stated before, confusing. the words used aren't familiar to many, which makes the reading process choppy and ends in a lot of "i need to google this" moments.

basically im annoyed bc the top one was featured and i dont see really anyone talking about saving sable even though its amazing
