- au where, while firestar and his siblings are all around one moon, nutmeg follows jake out at night and meets quince. quince is pregnant at the time, and nutmeg and quince become friends. when quince's kits are born and old enough, she sneaks the kits into nutmeg's garden to play with nutmeg's kits quite the two she-cats chat

- more on above: rusty and his littermates like hanging out with tiny, and socks and ruby end up basically being ignored by the huge bunch of kits in rusty's squad

- au where nutmeg sees rusty exiting his nest (they live closer), and she makes him either stay back or bring smudge into the woods with him

- au where nutmeg hears that rusty went missing by smudge and goes out herself to find them, getting taken as a prisoner by thunderclan, where firepaw sees her and tries to convince bluestar to let her stay. nutmeg trains, but is just too soft, and ends up going home. though, for a while before firepaw becomes a warrior, he sneaks out at night to visit her nest

- au where nutmeg and jake grew up together, but jake's housefolk moved away. jake ended up running off one night to see his friends and family again, and he finds nutmeg. he decides to roam around her part of twolegplace as a loner and eventually meets quince
