1. Gatherings usually last 3-6 hours. However, depending on the events, they can last mere minutes up to the entire night.

2. Apprentices usually have to wait a moon or two after their ceremony to go to a Gathering because otherwise they might reveal personal info. If they wait, their mentors can teach them how to hold their tongue.

3. On the Great Oak, each Clan has their own spot on the branches. ShadowClan's branch is the highest. RiverClan's and WindClan's branches are on the same level but opposite to each other, and ThunderClan's leader sits in a crook between two branches closest to the ground (but still a few feet up).

4. The Great Oak is covered in scratches from leaders climbing up and down it.

5. At some point, there was a time of daylit Gatherings where there were friendly competitions held between apprentices of different Clans. The winning group of apprentices got to bring back one prey item from the losing Clan's camp to their own. However, if food is short, the apprentices may bring a seed of any herb instead. If both food and herb sources are small, no prize will be taken.

6. Clan cats sometimes give each other nicknames based on skills they have. For example, a very fast cat who is good at hunting may be called "the Falcon" by their Clanmates. However, it is rare for other Clans to learn these nicknames.

7. Prefixes that relate to the "Great Clans" (Lion-, Leopard-) are almost always given to kits that show great potential.

8. The story of the Great Clans was first told by a wandering loner, and has been passed through generations since. The original storyteller's name is unknown by now.

9. StarClan cats often come down and sit beside their living Clanmates during Gatherings, but because the living warriors can't see spirits, they go unnoticed.

10. River Ripple's swimming ability stems from a time he tumbled into the river as a kit and, surprisingly, enjoyed the feeling. He eventually taught himself how to paddle through the water.
