-Turns into an entirely new person whenever he's comfortable with someone

Personality: very introverted, quiet, and shy, kind when spoken to, helpful when needed. Slightly reckless when the situation involves his loved ones, extremely protective of them as well.

Biggest flaws: He doesn't like letting people help him no matter how badly he needs it; he dwells obsessively on the past; he's afraid to grow close to most people for fear of them leaving him as well.

"Fun" Facts:

He was suicidal before he finally accepted the dark gem and his new life; constantly was haunted by thoughts that he should never had been born, hurt himself on purpose, spent entire nights crying, etc.

He was bullied constantly in gradeschool but never told anyone.

He had to learn most of his powers and abilities completely on his own the hard way, which involved situations of life and death.
