Just reminding you guys that this is my OPINION
I am not a professional in any way so it's cool if you wanna disregard anything I tell you

#1: When eyes go too high up on the forehead

I think this is the result of people not using references
But
Yeah
You should keep in mind that the brain has to fit inside the skull and when the forehead is that small there's no way it could

#2: When eyes are asymmetrical

I know eyes are hard but plz,,,,use a ref

#3: When people draw cartoonish hair but add random lines for strands

I can understand why you'd want to put more detail into the hair, but random lines + a cartoon style usually makes a cluttered mess
This can look good if the artist knows about the flow of the hair and how it's in sections and stuff but random scribbles are just kinda lazy

#4: Oversized and overly detailed anime eyes on a relatively simple base

Same as the last one
When you combine a bunch of simplicity with a huge mass of detail it just clashes way too much

#5: Scribbling in to fill

For digital peeps plz just use the fill tool
For those using traditional mediums make sure you color in one direction instead of scribbling
It'll make your pieces much cleaner and more finished

#6: Not knowing how clothes work and just drawing it like boxes

Again,,,,,,refs plz

#7: Drawing boobs like perfect beautiful orbs

Please don't draw boobs like this
They sag
A lot
I look at titties a lot so I kNOW.

That is an ass, my friend

#8: When bodies start off normal but get smaller and smaller as they go down

Just make sure you zoom out regularly instead of focusing on one part of the piece all the time
Otherwise your character could look like a sand funnel
