a fun fact about yaks
if you took all the yaks in the world and lined them up around the equator, most of them would drown.
the same is true of people and ants, too!
"fun" fact.
have some 'art':
^^^ so this isn't finished yet but it exists
^^^ yeah, I've kinda been in a purple-blue-red ocean mood lately apparently (but in all seriousness, this took me like five hours and I'm really proud of it)
also I noticed a thing in my art where everyone looks like they're less than five years old?? like, I was trying to draw an ancient Egyptian dude and this happened:
like,, I'm sorry, but you look like a two year old with a growth hormone problem
so anyways that led to some age practice and I'm pretty proud
^^^ I played around with the polka dot and kakemi default brushes on this for texture (polka dot for the jacket, kakemi for the hair)
^^^ did I ever show you guys this sketch I did for Biology
Oh yeah and I was thinking about vampires (nothing new) and I was kinda lost thinking about vampires from the revolutionary war and Ancient Greece and all that's cool but then I thought
What about stale vampires from, like, 2008
she swoops into your room at night and links you to her myspace page

also I've been having fun with this hunger games simulator thingy. You can enter names and stuff and it'll give you a mock hunger games?? this happened:
and then this happened:
and then this happened:
Hatsune Miku quietly crept through the undergrowth, moving ever closer to the fire that cast red light around the forest around her. What a baka, she thought, crouching behind a tree. Anyone making a fire this late at night is just asking to be killed. She peeked around the tree trunk, and her eyes landed on her fellow tribute, Barry B. Benson. His brown hair and yellow stripes glowed orange in the firelight. She remembered seeing him sitting quietly at the lunch table during training, humming to himself.
She shook her head, forcing the memories out of her head. No, I can't think about that right now, she thought, creeping around to the back of Barry. He's another player in the game, nothing more. And I have to kill him, if I want to survive. She sneaked through the dark, using the howling wind to mask the sounds of her footsteps. Less than a foot away from him now, she hoisted her knife into the air, but faltered when the sound of his humming hit her ears.
She held back a groan. No, Miku, you can't stop now, you baka! She was too far in. Now all she had to do was swing the knife down...
She glanced at the knife again. Death by knife would be easier for her, for sure, but it would be painful for Barry. Poor, innocent Barry.
She stopped and stared at the back of Barry's head for a moment. He hadn't asked for this. He was in the same situation she was. Just trying to survive.
She frowned, and set the knife down at her feet. No knife. She would make his death painless instead. A quick neck-snap is all it would take. Besides, if I don't kill him now, someone else is bound to kill him in a far less... merciful fashion.
She took a step forward, and hovered her hands just around his head. She was about to swing in for the kill, when she heard a faint whisper, filled with tears.
Barry sniffled. "Ya like jazz?".
Miku clenched her teeth, and silently snapped Barry B. Benson's neck.
