I did this during conference. My printer wasn't working so I couldn't print out a coloring page so I did a tribal tattoo. I like them. This one is alright, I haven't been on top of my art lately. I haven't had much time to draw. I've been juggling swim with homework and I'm trying to get Evergreen done. It's coming extremely slowly. I haven't been on top of my writing for a while either. Last time I updated regularly since Red Snow was done . . . 😅

But I'm almost done wit the cover. I had to recolor it and I'll have to reshade it. Ugh.

But last night I was wondering how I should shade it so I did a "quick" experiment using a somewhat painterly style.

This isn't a good picture, but I think I'm in love with this technique. It pretty much starts out with very basic cell shading then you play with the opacity an erase and stuff with a low opacity and repeat till it's dark enough, leaving some areas blended and some still sharp. I didn't use any fancy brushes; just a hard, basic photoshop brush. Seriously.

And I was wondering . . . No one seems troubled at all by the most recent chapter of Eyeseffendee. You all do know it's on hold till Evergreen is done, right?

Oh and Gary got his braces off today. He couldn't stop smiling and licking his teeth. He's so hot 😍😍

And he tried speaking some romantic French to me. It was very basic but he tried.
