And my new monster child Sam (I'm farther on this one but oh well)

I'm thinking of writing a book about monster people who live in another world that is connected to ours via magic. If someone isn't meant to be on Earth for some reason or they feel like they shouldn't be alive, they're taken to a world called the Weald and they become monsters. Sam's sister was stolen, so he goes in after her, but he was supposed to stay on Earth. Oops I guess. Then he tries to go back, but there isn't really an easy way back.
