If you are a great artist and you want to go into art magnet here are some tips.

In art magnet you CAN NOT work to slow, because you end up being forced to work faster, and it sometimes messes up your work. I know that because I usually take my time on stuff.

You CAN NOT draw anime. In my art magnet class, my teacher only aloud us to draw one drawing of anime, not copy written , and thats it.

Most of the kids in art magnet actually thought it was gonna be fun, but for work you either have to draw a still life, or carve, or stipple, and it may become something you regret to do.

Sketchbook is due every Tuesday. If you miss it its a double F.

If you get bad grades, you may get warnings, and eventually kicked out, unless its your home school. (You can join a magnet even if its not your home school because you tried out for a magnet and you are in it)

In art we are now doing carving. First things first DO NOT put your finger in front of carving tool, because you will end up with painful cuts, and I mean purely painful.

These two painful cuts were caused by a carving tool (the second is actually hard to see because it is underneath the pointer finger)
Another reason why not to put your hand in front of the carving tool: I just had to go to the nurse because the cut caused by the tool would not stop bleeding😶 it took three papers, one bandage, and two cotton swab bandages, plus a bunch of other things to stop the bleeding.
