Chapter 46

My eyes widened at the end of Shikamaru’s battle… he gave up. He just… gave up. The battle was intense, a true battle of the minds and Shikamaru won. Technically. If Shikamaru had more chakra or… wasn’t so lazy… he could have won the match as well. I heard a scoff from across the waiting room, and I looked over. It was Rin.

Naruto, from beside me growled. My head snapped back over to him just as he said. “Why did he give up?!” he slammed his fists on the rails and then continued. “What an idiot! Now I’m getting mad!” and then he… launched himself off of the rails into the battle arena. “I’ll go lecture him!”

“What an idiot,” I heard Rin sneer and my eyes narrowed over on her.

My eye twitched when she looked over at me. “Naruto isn’t an idiot, Rin Obitmaru. He is passionate about what he believes in and about protecting his friends,” I informed her and then I grinned, jumping onto the rails myself, crouched on top of them. “And as his best friend, I’m going to explain to Naruto what happened,” and then I launched myself off them. “See yah Shino!” I called out and then flipped in the air, doing multiple flips, before landing on the ground silently and one hand on the ground.

“You idiot!” Naruto shouted at Shikamaru as he pointed at him as Shika stretched out.

I got up off of the ground and jogged over to the two ninja. “Shut up, you super idiot,” Shikamaru drawled.

“Why did you give up?” Naruto asked in anger and I sighed.  I lightly hit him over the head and he yelped, rubbing the back of his head and glared at me. “What was that for Emi?!”

“Because, if you weren’t so hasty, I would have explained to you why Shikamaru gave up, yah,” I stated and then smiled at Shikamaru as he stopped stretching. He looked at me carefully, as I started to talk. “If a ninja hasn’t got any more chakra to use, or great taijutsu abilities to fall back on when they run out of chakra, then the best course of action is to retreat and fight another day in the real world. Even though Shikamaru isn’t in the real world with these exams, they are to be treated as such, if that battle went on any longer, that Temari would have used Shikamaru’s low chakra to her advantage. She can strategize to, just not on the same level as Shika here. Shikamaru noticed this and got out while he still could, essentially, saving himself from further pain and if this was real, his whole team… but then again, his whole team might still have chakra…” I trailed off before shaking my head. “Anyway, Naruto. Not everyone has basically unlimited chakra or stamina like you. The best qualities a ninja can have, is knowing when to retreat, knowing their capabilities and limitations and accepting them…” I smiled at Shikamaru and he smirked.

Shikamaru stretched his arms upwards and cracked his back. “So, you’re not just an explosive idiot,” He retorted and I snickered at him.

“Aw come on Shika! You know that’s not true,” I joked and Naruto grinned at him. “I’m worse,” I grinned and then I rolled my shoulders, feeling a glare on me. Will Rin ever stop glaring at me? “I wasn’t named top Kunochi for our year for nothing Shika.”

His nodded his head and Naruto groaned. “I still don’t like how you gave up! I get the how’s and the whys now but still!” He shouted and I chuckled at him.

“It doesn’t matter, it’s all in the past now,” Shikamaru informed him and then his eyes landed on me. “It’s your match next, isn’t it?” he asked and I nodded my head, I looked back up at the waiting room and I saw Rin looking down at me.

“Oh yeah…” Naruto trailed off and then put a hand on myy shoulder. “Give her everything you’ve got!” Naruto shouted and I smiled.

“I will put on the best art show I’ve ever performed in my life, un,” I vowed and Naruto grinned his foxy grin at me.

Shika then started to walk past me and Naruto. “Come on Naruto, let’s head up. And this time, can I go up on my own?”

Naruto laughed and then ran past me to Shika’s side. “You aren’t still mad about that, are you?” he asked and I smiled at the two.

I then looked back and I saw the Proctor looking at me. “Emiko Kin?” he asked and I nodded my head. “Alright, Rin Obitmaru! Will you come down for the next match?!” he called out, looking at the waiting room.

I followed his eyes up to the waiting room and Rin then launched herself off of the rails and then copied how I flipped to the ground. She landed on the ground, with her knees bent but not like I did, and glared up at me. I smirked and then turned around and moved the other side of the arena as she moved to position as well. Together we turned and faced one another.

We stood across each other and she took a breath and stood tall. “Before we start, you got any last words to say? I can pass it along to your brother when I hunt him down after I’ve killed you.”

Anger rose out of me and I pushed it back and let my face show nothing. She just threatened my brother? Is she stupid? I let smirk fall into place. “No need, because you won’t kill me. And in some case that you do, my brother would hunt you down to avenge me and finish what he started in Iwa 7 years ago,” I warned her.

Her eyes narrowed on me and I let my eyes narrow as well. It was silent and I heard the rest of the audience mutter about what we were going on about.

“Match between Emiko Kin of Konohagakure and Rin Obitmaru of Iwagakure, begin!” the proctor shouted and neither of us move.

What is she going to do first… is she going to follow what I know and attack me with genjutsu? Or is she going to be unpredictable and go for something else first? Ninjutsu or Taijutsu? She does have me beat with genjutsu as I don’t have any skill with it… well, to use it anyway, but as long as I know when she casts it, I can beat it.

I noticed the wind around me whip and whistled and I smirked. Genjutsu it is then.

Third Pov.

“Why aren’t they moving?” Ino asked of Sakura and Sakura’s eyes narrowed onto the two ninja.

Rikku, who was nearby them with her sister Yumi, chuckled at them. Making both Sakura and Ino looked up at her and Yumi. “Because, Emiko is evaluating Rin. She is seeing what she is going to do first and whatever Rin does will determine how this battle goes,” Rikku explained and looked down at the battle between her friend and sister. “Emiko isn’t a genjutsu type, but Rin is. She’s focusing on Rin to see if Rin is going to do a genjutsu by focusing on any movement or flux in chakra. Emi will be able to break through it if she knows a genjutsu has been cast.”

Sakura’s eyes widened and her head snapped back over towards the battle. “Emi can break through genjutsu?” she asked. Sakura can do that, Kakashi-sensei taught her how… it’s one of the things that only she could do in their squad and now Emiko can do it…

Rikku nodded. “Yes, I helped her with that but she has made her own version of the basic release and she also has to know that the genjutsu’s been cast, otherwise its game over for Emi.”

Ino sighed and shook her head at that. “So, Emiko is at a disadvantage here as well?”

Rikku laughed a little and shook her head. “No way in hell. It’s Rin who is at a disadvantage! Neither me or Yumi are going to allow her to make a connection with us,” Rikku stated with a slight smirk. “Rin has to do this on her own.”

All of a sudden, a wind picked up and then Emiko disappeared and the reappeared in front of Rin, her fist slamming into Rin stomach and setting her flying into a wall. Rin hit the wall, making a crack appear. Rin coughed and slid to the ground.

Emiko stood up from her crouched position to the strong fist stance. She smirked at Rin and said. “First Genjutsu, broken.”

Rin forced herself onto her feet. “How did you-“

“A ninja never explains themselves in battle. Figure it out yourself, yah,” Emiko retorted and Rin glared at her, her anger building up in which she pushed back. But it was there, simmering under the stare of Emiko.

From in the stands, Yuuki was glaring at Emi. She improved since the last exam a lot. Rin and herself both thought that Emiko wouldn’t be able to break through a genjutsu, it was shown that she couldn’t during the preliminaries against Rikku. And Rin’s genjutsu are stronger than her own. This is not good…

Hisashi, under a disguise was sitting near Yuuki and smirked at the slight weariness on her face. She better be weary, because Emi hasn’t been sitting around doing nothing these past four weeks.

With the Hokage and Kazekage, the Orochimaru Kazekage smirked a little. He has been looking forward to seeing this battle. He wants to see how much Emiko has improved since the forest and to see how she would fight against Rin. Stupid Rin.

Everyone watched carefully, when all of a sudden, Rin disappeared, Emiko followed shortly afterwards, all the sounds heard was the sounds of punches and kicks hitting flesh and cloth.

Emiko’s Pov

Rin and I jumped back away from one another, she was breathing heavily, and I could see the anger in her eyes and that the heavy breathing came from the anger. She’s angry that I was able to go hit to hit in that short taijutsu face off. She was glaring at me darkly and I fell into the Strong fist stance.

“That’s the same stance that Rock Lee person used…” she trailed off and I smirked at her words. She glared at me darkly. “So what you can break through genjutsu, and fight with taijutsu…” she took a breath and then smirked at me. “I’m still stronger!”

And then she was off again. My scope detected her behind me before she could hit me, I turned around and I blocked her punch with my forearm, I twist my arm and caught her wrist in my hand and I pushed off of the ground and went into the air. I used my momentum to spin us and then when I was at the right speed, I flung her into the ground.

I landed on the ground not long after wards, my scope picked up a flux of chakra and then… I was frozen. My eyes widened when I noticed I couldn’t move. Crap! Genjutsu…

She coughed a laugh, blood dripping down her cihn from the force of being thrown into the ground and then sat up. Holding her stomach as she stood up. “Paralysis Genjutsu, like it?” she asked of me and I glared at her. “Like I said, I am stronger.”

She walked towards me and got into my face. “My hate, my anger… my revenge has come down to this moment.”

My eye threatened to twitch in annoyance but I kept up my glare. Keep her talking Emiko, come on… “then what are you waiting for?” I asked as I focused my chakra in my body. Flowing it to my feet, my hands and to the tip of my head, searching for where the genjutsu was…

“Oh, I am going to make you suffer!” she hissed at me.

It seems like now that she has me captured, she is going to rant and get angry… she thinks she has me meaning that now she is going to allow herself to become enraged. Perfect for me.

“I am going to make you scream,” she growled, pulling out a kunai. “I am going to make you shout… I am going to make you beg! For my parents… you are going to die!”

I snorted and glared at her. “Good luck with that. I’ve got high pain tolerance. After all, I have been hit with my own art before, un,” I retorted and I found where the Genjutsu was focused.

It was focused on my arms, legs and obviously, my mind. I focused on my chakra in my chakra core and then stopped the flow of it. Keeping focused on my chakra and ready to apply my explosion type chakra for power and to disrupt the flow of the genjutsu on my legs, arms and mind. However, I’ve got to be careful if I am going to use my explosion type chakra. I don’t want to damage my mind.

“Oh, you’re going to wish you don’t soon!” she raised the kunai high and ready to strike down.

“Hey Rin!” I called out and she stopped in her motion. “Katsu!”

My chakra pulsed outwards and broke the genjutsu, an explosion of chakra escaped me with a loud boom. It sent Rin flying back and myself as well, however, being used to my explosions, I flipped backwards in the air and my hand flew into one of my clay pouches and made three C1’s. I set them flying towards her.

Rin’s eyes widened and she jumped away from my flying C1’s. She backed up until she hit the wall. She flinched when she realised that she can’t move from that position just as my C1’s surrounded her.

“I am going to give you one chance to give up, Rin. Before I get serious,” I warned her. I now know her Taijutsu capability and I know now not to put my guard down for a single second.

She glared at me and then formed a hand seal. “Connection, RIkku!” She called out and I saw her eyes glow for a seconded before she stumbled. “What…”

“Yeah, Rikku and Yumi aren’t allowing you to connect to them. I guess beating your sister half to death wasn’t so smart, un,” I goaded her and she growled, her eyes glaring at me with a promise of pain and I could see that her anger was building. “So, I take it you’re not giving up, yah?” I asked and her eyes connected with mine.

Then Rin’s eyes narrowed a little and then I heard a scream of sudden pain. My head snapped up and towards the sound… she was attack Rikku mentally from here?! Is she that far gone that she is willing to hurt her own sisters when she is fighting against me? Rin’s hands formed into a hand seal.

My hands formed into a normal hand seal quickly and I shouted. “katsu!” the C1’s exploded and sent up dust around the area.

My hand flew up to my scope and I set it so I could see through dust, and I zoom in. My eyes widened at the sight of multiple Earth Style, Destruction Rising Earth Pillar’s surrounding her in a guard formation. There were cracks and indentations all over it.

My scope picked up movement within the dust and behind the pillars. It seems that she was running up the pillars from behind them. If she thinks she can get the upper hand against me from being behind the pillars then she has another thing coming.

She shot up above the pillars and dust. I could hear the gasps of shock from around the arena and I ignored them. Instead, I jumped back as she pushed herself off of the pillars and shoot off towards me. She hit the ground with a kick, forming a mini crater. My eyes widened at that as she formed a hand seal.

“Even though Rikku may not be allowing me to use her more advanced ninjutsu, I’ve still got some of my own! Earth Style! Mud slide!” she shouted and I jumped off of the ground.

I was just in time to dodge the four spears that shot out of the ground. Crap, if I was there, then that would mean I would have been shish kabobed on all sides.

I landed on the tree that was in the area. My hand formed into a hand seal, using one of the ninjutsu’s Rikku taught me. Earth Style! Destruction Rising Earth Pillar. A pillar of earth right underneath Rin came up and she was sent flying in the air.

She twisted herself in the air and glared at me, I could see that she was losing herself fully to the anger, which is exactly what I wanted. I stayed in the tree and she formed hand seals. She hit the ground, hands first.

“Earth Style! Flying Stones!” the ground in front of her hands formed into rocks and was sent shooting towards me.

My eyes widened and I moved quickly. She did it again, and again. Trying to hit me from all angles and completely destroying the ground with her jutsu. I knew this would be using her chakra but it’s hard to keep being on the move, I’m just lucky that I have my scope to tell me when rocks were heading towards me and also that I have training in moving quickly to dodge potentially devsating jutsu. Keeping away from explosions when trying out new types and they set off without warning can be great training.

Anyway, I need to end this battle and quickly. I know how strong her taijutsu is now and her speed which is annoyingly almost at my level, most of  her ninjutsu without the help of Rikku (hopefully all of her ninjutsu anyway), I know I can break out of her genjutsu with my explosive chakra and she is now losing focus of everything around us and letting her anger control her. As I moved with quick bursts of speed, she has been leaving multiple openings on all sides. Now all I need to do is break that mind jutsu the Yuuki has put on Rin just like in my plan… I just hope that my plan with that works.

My eyes darted around the arena as I dodged and I saw multiple cracks from where the rocks have been hitting. The Proctor had moved from the arena to the Waiting Room, he was crouched on the on the railings though.

I landed on the ground, and Rin called out. “Earth Style! Mud Slide!” I moved away from the spikes yet again.

I flipped back and landed on the wall. I took deep breaths and I looked her in the eyes. Her breathing was coming hard and fast. From my scope, I knew she was running out of chakra and fast. The way she just kept repeating the same jutsu over and over again… I knew she could fight better if she had a clear mind, Rikku and Yumi stressed as much. But right now, I have her where I want her. She’s angered, not thinking things through and filled with rage. This is why ninja’s are told to not let emotions control them in battle, because if an enemy knows how to do it, they can use it against you.

“Running out of chakra yet Rin?” I asked out and she glared at me darkly. Her body was shaking in rage.

“Just keep still you stupid traitor!” she shouted at me and I smirked at her.

“You think that hurts me? Iwa was blind to my brother and I’s artistic eye! Iwa was going to make me into the perfect weapon for them to use! But you know this, don’t you Rin? After all, Yuuki told you. She tells you everything!” I called out. Come on, fall for the bait, fall for it!

“Of course she does! I trust her! She was the one that found me that day! The one that told me what I saw was the truth. That you did kill my parents. I don’t have an altered memory like you told Rikku. I’m a genjutsu user, I would know if my memory was altered. Also, you’re not that important enough to have this set up… Iwa wouldn’t care if you lived or died!” She snapped at me and I rolled my eyes at her.

I sighed and I shook my head at her. Is she really that manipulable? Really? “You’re an idiot, un,” I muttered and then my eyes connected with hers.

She was seething before smirking darkly. “I’m an idiot? We shall see!” she pulled out shuriken at me and I pulled out a kunai and used it to reflect the shuriken. She moved quickly so she was right in front of me. I smirked and my hand went into one of my pouches. I got my hand mouths to eat some of the clay.

She punched me hard in the stomach and I was slammed into the wall was I standing on. I lost the chakra in my feet and I slid down onto the ground. I moved my clay into my other arm and made one high level and the other low level E4’s. I figured out the reason why I could onto destroy one of Hisashi’s chakra strings and that is because I didn’t put enough chakra into it, the more chakra, the more chakra strings I can use.

Rin was above me and I rolled out of the way before her foot slammed down onto me. Yeah, I may have high pain tolerance but even I know better than to allow myself to be hit. It could affect me in the long run. There is still an invasion to fight after this.

I jumped onto my feet and I saw Rin run at me. I could have jumped back but I didn’t. She swung her fist at my face and I caught her fist in my hand with the E4’s in. I bit back a wince at the strength she threw that punch at. She is physically strong. Stronger then Rikku, but I have trained a lot this month, and the weights that Tenzo had me wear on my arms strengthened them. I allowed the lower level E4 onto her and I flung her away from me.

“How about you show me that day again, huh?! Rin?! Show me how I’m wrong! That your memories aren’t altered by Yuuki! That you aren’t just a puppet! That all this manipulation you have been invoking towards your sisters, didn’t stem from others manipulation of you! Hmm!” I shouted in feigned frustration.

Rin stood up straight and glared at me. “I don’t need to show you anything!! You’ve seen it all before!! You’ve killed my parents!” she snapped at me and I smirked.

“Show everyone in the arena then! Show them what I did and have them cheering for you and not me!” I snapped right back. it was a the truth, mainly everyone in here has been cheering me on. Her eyes shone with shock at my words. “Turn your sisters back to your side and not mine… that’s if you can!”

Her eyes then changed into determination and… want for that to happen. For me to be alone in this like she was now. All she had here was Yuuki cheering her on. If she does this jutsu… then that would mean she has played into my trap. Just do it, Rin…

Her hands formed with two easy hand seals and she called out. “Genjutsu of Reflection!” the world around me changed yet again.

I smirked as the world changed into Iwa. I saw everyone else was in caught in the genjutsu as well yet again like with Rikku. This would drain Rin’s chakra to a dangerous level as well, meaning even if my plan failed, she would be low on chakra and I would win anyway.

I heard explosions from the genjutsu, and there was dust and debris around me. I heard laughing from above me but I ignored it. I knew that I had to find Rin in this Genjutsu. She wasn’t in the area… my hand flew to my scope and I bit my lip, searching for her chakra. It was hard to find her as this was her jutsu, meaning that her chakra was everywhere. But I found her eventually. I heard a gasp beside me and I looked down knowing that it was going to be Rin when she was little, she was staring up at the bird and I released my high level E4 and let it settle on the littler Rin, well sort of settle on her. It hovered right above the girls head. I hope this worked… I heard the sounds of more Explosions being set off yet again.

I shook my head and I focused on where I knew Rin was. I could faintly see her within the genjutsu through my scope which was good. I focused on the lower level E4 and had it settle above her head. What I’m about to attempt is to just when the Genjutsu ends, to disrupt the chakra in her mind that Yuuki evoked when she made this jutsu and destroy the foreign chakra that is Yuuki’s chakra, in Rin’s mind that changed the memory like I would destroy the chakra in someone. But I need two E4’s, one higher level one will dispute the foreign chakra in the genjutsu by stopping the flow of chakra like releasing a genjutsu and one that will disrupt the chakra in Rin’s mind, effectively destroying it and then showing the true memory of that day. Also, I’ve been trying to get her to use up all of her chakra… well, as much of it as possible so that it’s less likely for my E4 to affect her chakra reserves. I’m hoping that it doesn’t affect her chakra network.

I heard the ‘me’ cackle like a villain and I knew I had to do the jutsu soon, so I pressed on the nerve and I tensed myself, ready to do the jutsu. “Mother! Father!” little Rin shouted from beside me and I looked at where she was looking towards and I saw the fake me drop a clay creature down next to her parents.

“Art is fleeting, un! Katsu!” BOOM! They were killed. 

“NO!!!” my head snapped down at the young Rin and I saw that she was shaking in shock… now! Before she gets knocked out!

“Katsu!” I flowed the chakra and BANG! Both E4’s went off, and the genjutsu world change again and I heard a sudden gasp of pain.

The genjutsu shifted to the true memory, starting from the beginning.

I heard explosions, and there was dust and debris around me. I smiled when I heard laughing from above me, I looked up and I saw Deidara on a clay bird.

“See Rin? Your memory had been altered. I just disrupted the chakra that enforced the change of your memory. This is the truth,” I called out and I saw the 15 year old Rin appear in front of me. She had fallen onto the ground and her eyes were wide as she watched the memory play. 

I heard a gasp beside me and I knew it was little Rin yet again, so I ignored her. I watched as the bird turned upside down in a loop, more explosions being dropped and set off. I saw Deidara standing on the bird on his own and I saw myself when I was little, tied to the bird.

“Look at that, Rin. I am tied to the bird, un,” I informed her quietly.

Deidara laughed as if he was high off of the explosions… which he would have been. It was weird to see Deidara… it made me miss him so much. “Mother! Father!” Rin shouted from beside me and I looked down and I saw her parents. They were… running towards the destruction… so that’s how they died.

In the altered memory, they were just standing there, but in this one they were heading towards the destruction. Yuuki and the Obitmaru clan made her parents look like innocent by standers, now they were ninja who knew what they were getting into. Deidara dropped an explosive down and they just happened to run into the area where it was dropped.

“Art is fleeting, un! Katsu!” My brother shouted and then a loud boom followed! They were killed from being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

“NO!!!” my head snapped down at the young Rin. She was shaking in shock and I saw Yuuki, who was glaring up at Deidara on the bird, approach Rin and then… punched her in the head knocking the girl out and sending her to the ground. I winced a little. That got to hurt.

The genjutsu faded out and I smiled. My name has been cleared. I was a little proud that my plan worked out in the end. “See Rin? My brother was the one that killed them, not me. Yuuki found you and what can Yuuki do?” I asked condescendingly.

Rin pushed herself up from the ground shakily and looked at me. “She… did alter my memories…” she muttered and then slowly but surely stood up. Her shaking stopped and her eyes turned into a glare. “Your brother killed my parents… I am going to kill your brother!”

My eyes widened at that. Oh Jashin damn it, I didn’t think that she would change her vengeance onto someone else… then alone my brother…

 “And what’s the best way to get back at your brother for killing my parents? To kill you!” she then launched herself at me.

What the hell is she doing? I know that she doesn’t have any chakra left to fight me with. I made sure of that, but I guess her determination to get revenge for her parents is stronger than Rikku and Yumi’s… her revenge has been fed by Yuuki and her clan… she’s obsessed with revenge and only revenge to a horrible level.

Rin pulled back her arm and sent a punch straight at my face. I moved my head to the side and she turned on her heal to try and kick me when her punch missed. Another miss and she growled in anger. I flipped back away from her and when I was standing a fair bit away from her, she pegged a kunai at me.

My hand snapped up and I caught the kunai before it hit me in the face. But it seems that the kunai was a distraction, because the next thing I knew, I was punched in the face, which was followed through with a strong kick in the gut that sent flying back. Where is this sudden power coming from…

I slid on the ground, and I dug the kunai into the ground hard which slowed my momentum into a stop. My head snapped up and I saw that Rin was puffing and her chakra reserves were at an all time low… if she continues… she’ll die!

My hand went into my pouch and I quickly made some E1’s and set them towards Rin. Harmless, but perfect for what I need to do. I don’t want to make Rikku and Yumi loss their Obitmaru famed teamwork… I don’t think Rikku would ever forgive me for it. However… Rin isn’t going to give up her revenge, no matter what I do…

Her power is coming from rage and grief from the looks of things, she is consumed with it and when one is consumed with rage and adrenaline, it gives someone a burst of power… alright, for now though, it’s time for me to step up my game… and to give in to the urge to make beautiful art.

Third Pov.

“Well then, if you’re not going to give up… ART IS A BANG!! ART IS FLEETING!! KATSU!!”

Four loud consecutive explosions were heard. Everyone in arena’s vicinity, ears were ringing from the loud noise. Sakura, Shika, Naruto, Ino, Rikku, Hisashi, The Hokage, Orochimaru, and a few others who knew this level of art was harmless, wondered why she used it. It has no use in this battle… Where Rin was standing was now covered in dust and they couldn’t see her.

Emiko disappeared and Rin was suddenly air borne above the dust, her ears were bleeding from being so close to the explosives. Emiko appeared behind her and shouted “Konoha Wind whirl! Un!” she spun a strong kick at Rin and Rin was sent flying into the tree and fell onto the ground face first.

The ringing in everyone’s ears lessened and everyone watched with bated breath. Rin wasn’t moving, she was breathing but she couldn’t move.

The Proctor headed down to the arena and went to Rin and check her. He stood up and faced everyone. “Rin is unable to continue, the winner is Emiko!”

Everyone was silent; confusion from the battle was in the air as Emiko approached Rin.

This can cause disorientation, vertigo and nausea. And I already knew that if I set too many of them off, can seriously affect your hearing for the rest of your life, hmm,” Emiko explained to her. Orochimaru, Sakura, Lee, Ino, Shika, and Chouji who all knew the oto-nin, eyes widened. Orochimaru then smirked a little. What an intelligent move. Using past battles she’s faced to further her own ninja career (AN I’ve also realised that I had been writing career wrong… sorry!!) and capabilities. “It’s not like you use your ears anyway, you never listen to your sisters. You only listen to what you want to hear. Now you can’t hear as well the lies people feed you!”

Emiko smiled down at Rin and knelt near her. She patted her head and said. “I love the fact that the last thing you heard clearly is my art. So artistic,” She sighed happily and then looked her in the eyes. “Rin… I am sorry for the loss of your parents. But if you try to hurt my brother, I will kill you. Got it?” She stressed to her. No one will try to hurt her brother without going through her. “Also… how did you like my plan? How does it feel to be controlled and manipulated for so long?”

Rin coughed up blood and she glared up at the bomber. Her hearing is really bad but she has been hearing what Emiko has been saying, but only just. “You… planned this?!”

Emiko nodded her head. “From the start, I had to wait until you did the first move and I switched the plan as I went. I needed a few things for me to make you see the truth of things, chakra depletion, becoming enraged with anger, hit me with a genjutsu to see if my explosive chakra would break it… the lot,” she whispered to her, and the only one that heard was the Proctor. “I promised Rikku that I wouldn’t kill you and I know that she wants you to know the truth. And now you do. Whatever you do now is free game. My brother is more important to me than Rikku’s friendship. Remember this Rin, hmm,” She said loud enough for everyone to here.

The Proctor eyed the girl and sighed. The Proctor, named Genma nodded at Emiko as she moved away from Rin. This girl is a force to be messed with. Makes him wonder how strong her brother is…

Emiko turned around and looked up at the people in the area, everyone was cheering even though they were confused but still. Emiko’s face broke out into a grin and put her hands on her hips and took a deep breath.

“So that everyone here knows… ART IS FLEETING! UN!” She shouted as loud as she could and the cheering just got louder, which made her laugh a little. Oh, how she loved that everyone here now knows that art is fleeting…

Suddenly, her scope picked up strange movement from the middle of the arena. Her head and eyes darted in the direction of it and her eyes narrowed. Leaves in the area started to move and turned in a wind whirl.

With a slight, whoosh and the wind picked up for a second, two forms formed in the middle of the leaves and wind…

Emiko’s eyes widened a little. Sasuke and Kakashi-sensei had finally arrived!

There is it guys, chapter 46!! How did you like it? Any confusion? I tried to make it as understandable as I could, if it is, just ask and I’ll try to explain it in simpler terms, okay??

Now, Gaara and Sasuke’s battle is next… and then the invasion!! Oh My Gosh!! Then the Itachi and Kisame entrance and then… EIP!!!!!!

First and foremost, what did you guys think of the Rin VS Emiko battle? Good? Bad? Intense? And the second question… do you guys want the Obitmaru triplets in Shippuden? I’m not sure if I’m going to keep them or not… so I’m getting you guys to voice your opinions on it!!
