I don’t think I have ever said this before, or I haven’t said it in a while but, I think everyone knows I only own Emiko. Not Naruto, or anyone else in the show. Even though I wish I did. Sigh. Oh well, you all know the reason for the dedication by now.

Chapter 18

We all looked at the mist nin’s after my outburst. The mist nin’s looking back at us.

Kakashi let out an ahhh, before talking. “Oh my… my prediction was right,” Kakashi pointed out and I smirked.

“Looks like it, the faker,” I sighed out, shaking my head. Before resuming fight position.

“You’re prediction?” Zabuza asked of my sensei in confusion. I nodded my head. Looking at the fake hunter-nin named Haku.

“That masked guy,” Sasuke pointed out for Zabuza so he knew what Kakashi was talking about

When Sakura’s jaw dropped. I snickered. She has finally put it together that the Hunter-nin really is helping Zabuza. For a smart person, she’s really slow sometimes.

“Just as I thought, too,” Sasuke added, trying to be all cool. I rolled my eyes at him.

“When you put it together, it’s not all that hard. Plus, hiding when I saw you, Haku right? Well, that’s an wrong move. If you’re playing an act, play it right,” I explained to the boy with a smirk.

“So it was a lie that he was a pursing ninja for the Village hidden in the mist,” Tazuna called out, making sure he got it right. I nodded my head.

“By the looks of things, yeah. The faker,” I said, sounding a little annoyed. Fakers annoy me, always have, and always will. It’s why Sakura pisses me off. She fakes being someone else when she’s around Sasuke, being a faker to her true self.

Kakashi sighed with boredom. “He’s on Zabuza’s side no matter how you look at it,” Kakashi explained, almost saying the same thing as me. “They’re lined up so nicely.”

Sakura glared at the faker. “Who does he think he is, coming out like that,” Sakura said, sounded really pissed off and annoyed.

“I hate conceited kids like that,” Kakashi told us and I snickered. Nice to know, sensei.

Sakura looked at Kakashi, with amusement in her eyes. “He’s better than you in that field, Kakashi sensei,” I laughed at that. It’s true. They both wear masks, so they must be conceited about something behind them.

“Really?” Kakashi sounded surprised at that.

“I’ll fight him,” Sasuke said out of the blue. I looked at him weirdly. Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the boy. “He pulled that stupid act on us. I hate conceited guys like that,” I laughed hard then.

“Sasuke, Sensei just said that,” I laughed. Kakashi hit me over the head lightly to stop me from laughing. I glared up at him.

“You’re so cool, Sasuke,” Sakura squealed like the fan girl she is. I rolled my eyes.

I hand went to my pouch, and I stood up next to Sasuke with a smirk. He looked at me weirdly.

“I’ll be your back up, eh? I’ll stand ready to join in if you need it, alright?” I asked of him, and he nodded his head. Smirking at me.

“Their quite a team,” Zabuza scoffed at that. “Even if a water clone only had one-tenth of the original person’s power, they dealt with those clones well,” Haku complimented us and I rolled my eyes.

Flattery will get him not where. By the end of this day, both are going to be dead.

“But we made the first move. Go!” Zabuza ordered Haku.

Haku nodded his head. Then he moved. He started to move in a circle really fast, making the air spin around him. My eyes narrowed. This kid is good.

“What?” Sasuke said in shock at the boys speed. My eyes narrowed.

Haku spun around and around; like a mini cyclone, heading towards Sasuke. I jumped back. I will jump in if I’m need, but close contact fighting? I can’t do very well. Only luck in the bell test that I was able to touch those bells.

Sasuke raised his arms to defend himself with a smirk. Next thing we know, Haku and Sasuke’s weapons are connected. Sasuke’s kunai and Haku’s needle. They were both fighting to get the upper hand. Pulling away, and then trying to attack, but getting blocked. They’re really evenly matched.

“Sakura, stick with Tazuna and don’t get too far from me. Emiko, you wait until you think you should do something to help, if needed,” Sakura and I both nodded our heads. Sakura jumping in front of Tazuna. “We’ll let Sasuke deal with him.”

Suddenly, they both spun around on their heels and they tried to attack again, but they both blocked each other.

“I don’t want to kill you, but you won’t back off, right?” Haku asked of Sasuke. What is this boy up too?

“What are you, stupid?” Sasuke asked the boy with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes at Sasuke’s cockiness.

“As I thought. But you won’t be able to keep up with me for my next move,” Haku explained to my friend. I furrowed my eye brows. “And I’m already two steps ahead of you,” What does he mean?

“Two steps ahead?” Sasuke asked loudly as I mumbled it under my breath.

Haku nodded his head once, before answering Sasuke and I. “The first step is the water on the ground. And the second one is that I’m keeping one of your arms busy,” Haku told Sasuke and my eyes widened. “Therefore, you can only take and block my attacks.”

He’s right. I stepped forward and I put my hands together in a hand sign. If this goes bad, I’m ready to do one of the two earth styles jutsu’s I know. One of them is, make anything I hold super strong, like what I do with Artsy. The other… is a surprise.

 Haku did a hand sign, with only one hand?! What in the world is this guy?

Kakashi seemed to think the same thing. “Hand signs… with one hand, I’ve never seen that…” Kakashi said in shock.

“Flying Water of a Thousand kills,” Haku announced the name of the jutsu. Finishing with the last part of the jutsu as he did so.

He then splashed the water by stepping in it. My eyes narrowed, when the water lifted in the air. “Sasuke!” Sakura exclaimed worriedly.

The water then turned into ice needles, my eyes widened in shock. I looked back to Sasuke and I saw that his eyes were closed and he was doing a hand sign. What in Jashin’s name is this boy thinking?!

Sasuke’s eyes snapped open, as the needles flew down towards them both. At the last second, Haku jumped back. But I didn’t see Sasuke. My scope detected chakra in the air, so I looked up. And I saw Sasuke in the air. I let out a breath of relief.

Sasuke started to threw Shuriken at Haku, but Haku kept jumping back, dodging them. I pulled out a shurkien shuriken and I launched it too, but he ducked. But only just. Damn it!

Sasuke suddenly appeared behind Haku, with a cocky smirk on his face. “You’re pretty slow,” Sasuke informed the boy and I rolled my eyes. “Now, you can only receive and block my attacks.”

Haku turned around in time to block Sasuke’s stab with his kunai, but then Sasuke moved the kunai in his hand and launched it towards Haku. Haku moved and dodged it by moving to the ground. Sasuke acted quickly and kicked Haku back right towards Zabuza.

Zabuza’s eyes widened. “Haku lost in speed?” He muttered just loud enough for us to hear.

Sasuke smirked. “Looks like my speed’s better,” Sasuke stated to Haku cockily, and I snickered.

“And my speeds better than Sasuke’s,” I added, Sasuke looked at me in shock. “Trust me on that, Sasuke,” (AN, if you forgot, she has training weights on, and has trained with Guy and Lee) Sasuke looked away from me as I walked to his side. Prepared to fight.

“You can’t make fun of our team just because we have kids. Sasuke is the Konoha’s top rookie. Sakura is the village’s shrewdest child. Emiko is Konoha’s artist, and explosion expert,” I fist pumped the air.

“Don’t mess with my art, yah!” I exclaimed.

Kakashi chuckled at me and then continued. “And the one who isn’t here, Naruto is our Number one hyper active knucklehead ninja,” I snickered at that. Isn’t that the truth.

Then Zabuza started to chuckle at Kakashi and I frowned at him. Why is he laughing? He is about to get his butt kicked!

“Haku, do you understand that you’re going to get defeated like this?” Zabuza asked Haku and Haku slowly stood up, looking at Sasuke and I.

“Yes,” Haku told his sensei that he understood that. My eyes narrowed. What is going to happen?

My scope detected Haku’s chakra spike, as the chakra around Haku started to raise around him. “What is that?” Sasuke asked himself, but I frowned.

“Chakra, his building it up for something. I don’t know what though,” I told Sasuke and he nodded his head.

“It’s a shame,” Haku told us as the air around us started getting cold, I looked around. And shivered once.

“That’s… cold air,” Sasuke whispered to himself. I nodded my head.

“Yeah,” my scope was started to get foggy. I rubbed it to be able to see threw it. “This isn’t going to be good,” I muttered to myself.

Suddenly, Haku did a hand sign. The cold air got colder. I heard some noise behind us. I looked back, and there was ice forming… but to what?

I looked around, as I saw more starting to form. They were slowing turning into Ice mirrors of some sort.

When they finished, I saw that there were everywhere. Above us, around us, caving us in. This isn’t good. Not at all.

“Secret Jutsu. Crystal Ice mirrors,” Haku called out when the jutsu was finished. I looked towards him, and I saw that he was out of the mirrors.

The mirrors suddenly lit up, I raised my hands to my above my eye to block the light. It’s so bright. Haku walked towards the mirrors from the outside, and then… just walked into them?! What in the world?

I gulped, before raising my kunai up from beside me. Haku’s image started to appear on the other mirrors. I stepped back once and I frowned. This is not good. Sasuke looked at me.

“These are mirrors,” Sasuke muttered to himself. I nodded my head. telling him that I knew this already. “What is he going to do?” Sasuke asked anyone.

“I have a really bad feeling that we’re about to find out,” I whispered to him, trying to be ready for anything.

“Let’s begin,” Haku told us without emotion in his voice. I froze. “I will show you my true speed,” he warned us.

Then Haku, and the mirror Haku’s, pulled out Senbon (sp?), and then threw them at us. cutting threw us. I bit my lip to stop me from making a noise from the pain and clenched my eyes shut. He just kept throwing them at us.

Until he got really fast. I kept myself from making a noise but I did moan in pain a few times. A needle knocked my kunai out of my hand and my scope off my eye. I heard Sasuke and I’s names called out, but I really couldn’t careless right now.

I could hear Sasuke yelling in pain and I felt my lip start to bleed from bitting it too hard. I let it go and I let out a few screams of my own when I let it go. I flew needles getting into my skin and staying in.

“Take this!” Sakura’s voice sounded towards us and I forced my eyes open. I saw Sakura throw a kunai towards us. Haku caught it! He caught it! But, the needles stoped at least.

I leaned forward as I fell on the ground, gasping in deep breaths. I put my hand to my pouch, but a needle flew and hit my hand. Ouch!

I hissed in pain and I held it. He hit a nerve! I can’t make my hand mouth appear or moved this hand now!

I glared up at him, as Shuriken came out of nowhere and knocked him out of his own mirror. I smirked, before wincing in pain.

I watched as Haku slowly sat up. BOOM! I heard something go off. My eyes went towards the noise. When I saw smoke. My eyes narrowed.

“That idiot,” Sasuke muttered in pain as I forced myself to sit up right. My body aching in pain. Naruto didn’t…

“The number one hyper active knucklehead ninja,” Haku recited Kakashi from before.

When the smoke cleared, we could see Naruto standing there his hands in a hand sign.

“Naruto Uzumaki is here!” my eye twitched.

“NARUTO! STOP GETTING INTO MY EXPLOSIVE CLAY!!!!!!”

Oh, silly Naruto, always getting into Emiko’s explosive clay, she really should hide it better. Hahaha.

Anyway, I just want to say… THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!! It means a lot.

I won’t be uploading until after Christmas, sorry, but I have family here and I love them so much that I’ll be with them.

As its Christmas time, it’s a Christmas themed question. When you think of Christmas, what’s your frist thought? Mine is of my family, and getting woken up by my niece and Nephew’s at 6 in the morning to open presents. (Not joking, one time they woke me up at 3 in morning, or something crazy like that, hahaha)
