Chapter 38

Third Pov.

Rikku groaned as she came to, she could hear the sound of movement. Her eyes snapped open and she could see the stark white roof. Her head looked side to side in fear. She didn’t know where she was.

She was about to fling herself off of the bed she was laying on, when she felt a sharp pain in her arm. Her head snapped down to see an IV. She followed the IV she was connected to and she saw… a blood bag. Huh… it’s a blood infusion. (AN Not sure about this, I don’t know Medical Jargon!)

That means she was in the hospital… the sound of movement must have come from behind the door. What happened before she fainted to get here- oh! The fight with the murderer… Emiko, her old friend.

Suddenly the door to the room she was in opened and Rikku tensed as a nurse came in. “Oh!” the nurse exclaimed. “Your awake, Rikku Obitmaru right?” she asked and the Iwa nin nodded stiffly. What’s going to happen to her… surely Emiko would have told, right? That she and her sisters were conspiring to kill her. “Well, you are one lucky girl. You should be dead right now; you were bleeding heavily during that match. If that Konoha nin didn’t use that jutsu, you would be dead.”

Rikku’s eyes widened. She knew she was losing too much blood, she could feel it during the fight. But enough to die?! Emiko… saved her life… She remembered Emiko said it was for their old friendship…

Rikku’s eyes closed for a second and smiled a little at the memory of them meeting. She was 6 and Emiko was 4.

****Flashback****

Rikku laughed as she ran through the corridor of the Tsuchikage tower, away from her mother and father, and her two sisters.

She rounded around a corner sharply, not looking where she was going and where there should have been empty space, Rikku slammed into something.

The something and Rikky both yelped in shock and were sent sprawling backwards onto the ground. Rikku huffed, her hair in her eyes. She really hated her hair getting into her eyes. She looked past her hair and saw a girl in front of her huffing to as she flicked her blonde hair back and out of her face.

They both blinked at each other. “Who are you?” Rikku asked of the blonde haired child. Rikku noticed that the blonde in front of her had bright blue eyes and looked a few year younger than her. Not too much younger but enough.

“Emiko, un. You?” Emiko, the blonde girl questioned her.

Rikku raised an eye brow at her. “I’m Rikku Obitmaru. What about your last name?” Emiko’s eyes widened and she looked down at the ground.

“I don’t have one… my father died before I was born and Mother won’t let me or Dei-dei use it… I don’t even know his last name and mother won’t let us use hers either… So, I’m just Emiko, yah,” RIkku’s eye furrowed.

“Why do you say that?” Emiko blinked once at Rikku, making the orange haired girl puff her checks out. “Un, yah…” She elaborated.

Emiko’s eyes widened and her face went red a little. “It’s umm, a ver-er-verbal tick,” she stumbled over the words, her face went redder at her fumble. “My brother has it to… worse then me!” Emiko exclaimed with a happy expression, the blush now long gone.

Rikku’s eyes widened. “You have a brother? I’ve got two sisters! We’re triplet’s… but I don’t have a brother,” Rikku stated and Emiko’s eyes widened. “Anyway, why are you here?”

Emiko looked back down the hall where she came from; Rikku’s eyes followed Emikos and frowned. She knew that was the testing room, usually scientific testing, but sometimes medical testing. Is this girl in front of her really sick?

“People think I’m special…” Emiko muttered, rubbing her arm a little. “Because I was born with these.”

Emiko put her hands out towards Rikku, the palm of her hands were normal then suddenly mouths appeared in RIkku’s line of sight on the palms of her hands.

“I’m an explosive style nin, at birth! Apparently that’s never happened! My brother likes explosives too but he doesn’t have my hand mouths. Their kinjutsu… umm forbidden jutsu… I just like to call them kinjutsu though… so now people are doing weird tests on me to see if I’m any more different,” Emiko stated, before crossing her arms. “They won’t tell Dei-dei or me if there is yet… oh well. Maybe there isn’t.”

Rikku’s hand reached out and poked one of the mouths. A tongue poked out of the mouth after she did that. Rikku’s eyes widened and then moved her finger closer to it. The tongue shot out and licked her finge, making Rikku squeal.

“That is so weird, yet so cool! I wish I could have a hand mouth like that!” Rikku exclaimed in glee.

Emiko’s eyes widened and then narrowed her eyes on Rikku. “What do you think true art is?”

Rikku looked at the blonde carefully, cocking her head to the side. Rikku knew from the tone of the girl’s voice that she was serious about this question. Rikku already liked this girl, she didn’t seem like her sisters. Her sisters were different from herself, one was shy, the other was mean and just… almost angry about everything. Rikku sees herself as the loud happy one… and the other girl she was around was her family friend Yuuki who constantly goes on and on about her crush on a boy. Yuuki is a fangirl and her crush is better at her in being a ninja and even though Rikku knew Yuuki didn’t like to be bested she still fangirled over… what was his name…. oh! Deidara! So Rikku really wanted a friend that was like herself but different as well.

So Rikku thought hard before answering the question. “I’m sure… I’ve never really thought about it…” Rikku hoped that she didn’t lose a potential friend.

Emiko grinned at the girl. “That’s okay! I’ll just teach you what true art is! Art is fleeting, an explosion, and a bang! Bright, loud and everyone who sees it or hears it remembers it!” Emiko ranted and Rikku smiled at her.

“That sounds so cool Emi!” Rikku shouted in happiness. And she really did think that… art that even though doesn’t last long; it lasts long in memories… “Hey, do you want to play ninja with me?”

Emiko’s eyes widened and nodded her head. “Sure!”

**** End flashback****

Rikku looked at the nurse and said. “Emiko, the Konoha nin I fought is called Emiko,” the nurse nodded her head.

“Oh, I know. She’s in the hospital too. Apparently that jutsu is a double edged sword… while she took you down and saved your life… she also harmed herself, she’s lucky that the backlash of her jutsu happened after the name of the winner was declared,” Rikku’s eyes widened a little in shock. “Yes, a lot of her blood cells were destroyed and some of her veins were damaged, if one of the main arteries’ connected to her heart were one of the ones that were destroyed… she’d be dead right now to save your life.”

The Nurse then checked Rikku as she was deep in thought and also in shock. The girl she claimed to hate… the girl that supposedly killed her parents saved her life. No murderer would save Rikku’s life after she was trying to kill them… they would have killed her.

“Am I alright?” Rikku asked after all the tests were done. The nursed jotted a few things down on the clip board.

“Blood infusions are tricky in your situation, there is always the chance of you going into shock, but you’re going to be fine, why do you want to know?” the nurse asked of her.

Rikku’s eyes darted towards the ground, feeling a bit embarrassed on what she was about to ask. “Umm, I want to go and see Emi…” yes, RIkku needed to speck to Emiko without her sisters knowing or being around.

The nurse looked down towards Rikku with a suspicious look in her eyes. Rikku looked up at the women and she saw the look. Rikku looked at the nurse hopefully, she really did mean Emiko no harm. She just wants to talk. However, Rikku knew that Konoha nin or anyone Konoha wouldn’t really trust her.

The Nurse sighed. “Alright, however you are to take your IV with you. It’s one of the types that can be moved with you as you move about, but if you try to harm any Konoha nin in this hospital, remember you are in a Konoha facility and can be killed for it,” the women warned her and Rikku nodded.

“Yes Ma’am!” Rikku saluted.

Yes, she is going to listen to Emiko and try to keep an open mind. The best thing… her sisters won’t know and can’t stop her from trying.

Emiko’s pov.

I groaned as I woke up. I flung my arm over my eyes to block the light. Suddenly, I yelped in pain as I pulled on something that was in my skin. Straight away I sat up straight in the bed I was in to find out what it was that caused me pain. I looked down at my arm and I whined at the sight of an IV, one that was infusing blood into me.

“An IV… I freaking hate IV’s…”I muttered, reaching out and pulling it off. I knew it wasn’t smart but hey, I have a right to. I hated those stupid tests on me when I was little, and these… IV’s were a part of that. Plus, I’ve been through this before when I first used the EB without knowing the effects it would have on me. My blood with replenish quickly without the infusion.

I looked around the room and I noticed my forehead protector on a side table with… I smirked. My medical clip board. I never got to look at mine when I was little but I get to now. I wonder if they noticed anything in my cells or DNA or whatever other medical jargon there is involved with the human system.

My hand reached out and I grabbed the clip board with my medical details on it and my Forehead protector. I looked down at it and I saw basic things like my blood type being AB, my family members consisting of Deidara, my rank being Genin, and things like that.

I flipped a page when I heard a knock on the door. I called out. “Come in, un!”

I quickly put the clip board under my blankets, hiding it and I started to tie my forehead protector on my forehead, ignoring my hair which wasn’t in its normal style, it was out and I bugged me. When I saw Rikku enter.

She was looking at me nervously and I was watching her carefully. I saw her eyes drop down and noticed the unconnected IV. She burst out in giggles.

“You ripped it out!” she exclaimed in laughter and I blinked at her in confusion.

Is Rikku broken? She wanted to kill me earlier and now she’s laughing? “Rikku, you’re not broken are you? Hmm?” I asked and she looked up at me with a smile, shaking her head.

She shut the door behind her that was still open when I noticed… heh heh, she’s lugging around an IV! I chuckled at that and she looked at me with an eye brow raised. “IV,” I pointed out and she chuckled.

“Nurse wouldn’t let me out of my room without it,” RIkku explained as she pulled out one of the two chairs in the room, before settling in it. Rikku looked at me in the eyes and then sighed. “I’m… ready. I want to listen to you Emiko. Everything you said before you left Iwa, has been in my mind so much lately after I saw you again before the first exam… I’ve been pushing them all away but after our fight… some of your words just brought the memories forward. Now that I don’t have my sisters both mentally attacking me whenever I start to listen to what you’ve got to say, I want to listen!” She called out and my eyes widened at this sudden exclamation.

I looked at her carefully and I looked at my hands. I raised them both up towards her. The hand mouths both appeared in front of her. She looked at them and I had the mouths stick their tongues out at the same time I did. She chuckled at me and I put my hands down.

I started laughing as well. Together, we just laughed. It felt good, after all the tension between us, it’s nice to have a laugh together to get rid of it, even though it was slightly awkward. We needed it…

When we both calmed down, I smiled at her. “Why did you do that?” Rikku asked me and I shrugged.

“To remove the lasting tension from both of us and I knew that all I needed to do was do something little for us to both laugh,” I explained and Rikku looked like she understood. “You want to me to answer a few questions then, right?” she nodded her head. “Ask away then.”

Rikku’s eyes widened at me. “I thought… you would be too stubborn to even talk to me…” she trailed off before she laughed. “That’s right. Didn’t your brother always say that your emotions switched like…”

“an explosion? Yeah, I’m happy one second, sad the next before I get angry. My Emotions are there and fleeting, just like my art,” I sighed in contentment of thinking about my art.

Rikku chuckled at me. “That’s right… true art is fleeting art…” she trailed off and then looked down. “What happened that day… when you left…” she trailed off

I nodded. Straight to the big things huh? I looked up at the roof with a sigh. I spoke as I remembered that day.

****Flashback****

I giggled as I played with Artsy in the study room. I had just gotten home from the Academy. We were training with kunai today and I got all of my kunai on the target bored, and one hit the middle! I’m the best in my class… well, one of the best. My best friend Rikku is good to, but the sensei’s say I’m better.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of the door opening and being slammed closed. I jumped from the loud noise and I hugged Artsy to me.

“Emiko, un!” I heard Deidara call out to me. My face broke out in a smile and I jumped up from the ground before I ran towards the sound of his voice.

When I saw my brother, I threw myself toward him in a hug, dropping Artsy in my hug attack. He chuckled as a wrapped my arms around his legs.

“Dei-dei! Your home, hmm,” I shouted and I let him go. He reached down and he picked me up. “How was the explosion corps today?” I asked. My brother is a part of that division in Iwa, I want to join that division as well one day.

He chuckled at me, but it sounded off. “It was good, hmm. Yuuki was trying to get into a fight with me again on my way there. She’s just jealous of my ninja abilities,” he informed me as he wondered into the kitchen.

I noticed that in one hand he had take-out. I smiled at the smell of food, when I remembered something.

“Oh! Were you going to lord Tsuchikage and the ones testing me to get answers today?” I asked, and Deidera tensed a little. I took that as a yes. He has been trying to finally get answers about it soon and I guess he did today. “What happened…? Dei-dei…” he didn’t say anything; he just set me down and started to set up dinner for us. Mother was still in her room… she’ll come out later to get the left-over food later when both Dei-dei and I were asleep.

“They didn’t tell me anything but they told me something else, un…” He muttered, making me watch my brother carefully as he set down my plate of food. “Eat up, my little bomber needs to grow big and strong like her big bomber,” I snickered at him as I picked up my chop-sticks.

“Big Bomber? I’ve never called you that! Your my Dei-dei!” I exclaimed, taking my first bite of food.

He faked a sad sigh. “Why can’t I be your big bomber?” he asked of me and I shook my head at him.

“Easy! Because you’re my Dei-dei, I came up with that all on my own! I don’t want you to name yourself for me! I’m a big girl. The best in my class! Yah!” I cheered, fist pumping and he chuckled at me with a look of… love on his face for me. “I love you Dei-dei!”

He smiled at me when I started to feel… really, really sleepy. I wobbled in my seat, my sight started to go blurry.

The last thing I heard before was out of it was my brother saying. “I love you too, my little bomber. I will never let these art mocking b@stards to take you from me!”

****flashback over****

When I finished the story I said. “And that’s what happened. The next thing I knew I was on Dei-dei’s clay bird, he had hand mouths and I was tied to said bird and him telling me that we had deflected the village.”

I saw Rikku’s eyes widened at my story. “You’re not lying… I can see that. But how are Rin’s memories showing that you were the one to kill everyone?”

I face palmed at her. “Rikku… I said it in the fight. A memory altering jutsu. Yuuki has that ability Rikku, she’s alike the Yamamka clan in Konoha. Except she doesn’t do the same jutsu’s as them, just has she’s more mental based, she can see the memories of others and can alter them… but only alter them before two days have passed, after those two days are up, she can’t touch the memory,” I stressed to Rikku and she tensed. I nodded my head. “Think about it Rikku. You know Rin’s memory of me killing your parents. Well, you should know it. Rin didn’t faint normally. When someone faints, they stumble, wobble on their feet. Rin just fell… she was knocked out and it has to have been Yuuki or maybe a Obitmaru clansmen that knocked her out.”

Rikku closed her eyes as I spoke, thinking of the memory I just brought up, I waited as she thought about it. “She did… how did you pick up on that?” her eyes flew open and looked me in the eyes.

I chuckled at her. “Every great ninja has to see underneath the underneath. They need to think for themselves and not let anyone else think for them,” I lectured her with a smile. “It’s something I learnt while in Konoha. I’ve learnt so much here,” I pulled off of my forehead protector as I spoke. “I’m glad Dei-dei sent me here. I’ve made so many friends…”

I could feel her eyes on me as I traced the engraving of the Konoha symbol on my metal plate on the material that makes my forehead protector. My hand curled around it before I handed it over to Rikku. She looked at it in shock in her hands.

“And your one of them… even though we’ve been through so much RIkku… even though you’ve hated me all this time. I didn’t hate you… I thought you’d hate my brother for killing your parents… just not me. I thought we were still friends… somehow,” I muttered, rubbing the back of my neck. “However… we may never be the same as we were when we were kids, too much has happened between then and now. But I don’t want to lose my first friend.”

Rikku looked up from looking at my forehead protector, to look right at me. “Would… you actually do that for me?”

I snorted at her. “Life is too short to hold grudges over silly things like this. It wasn’t your fault for being manipulated by the people you thought you could trust. But I do warn you Rikku. If you double cross me… I will end you, I won’t let you harm my village or my friends,” I stressed to her and she nodded her head seriously.

“I know… I know… and I promise to you Emiko, I will think for myself and not follow anyone. Not even my sisters, blindly like I have in the past,” she reassured me and I smiled at her. It was quite between us before then I saw her face brake out into a bright grin. Oh Jashin, I haven’t seen that look in such a long time. Something is going to happen, she always grins like that when she’s going to cause trouble. “We need to catch up.”

I laughed at her, shaking my head at her. “You bring out the grin that causes trouble for that?” Rikku’s eyes widened. I snorted. “Oh, don’t look so surprise Rikku! You haven’t changed all that much, un!”

She laughed, rubbing the back of her neck. “I really haven’t… except that I don’t speak up as much!”

We both chuckled when we were cut off by a knock on the door. My head snapped up towards the door as it opened. There was Kakashi, his eyes landed on Rikku and moved right away between us.

“Emiko, what’s going on?” he asked, his voice tense. I snorted at him, shaking my head.

“Sensei, its fine! Rikku and I were talking it out. Come on! You should be happy that I’m not solving my problems with explosives!” I exclaimed, and Rikku snickered at my comment.

“You really should be! There was this one time in our second year in the academy and a teacher snapped at Emi that explosives weren’t art but just a destructive force and that she shouldn’t listen to her brother. Emi set an explosive on the chalk board and set it off,” Rikku stated and I laughed a little.

“I actually forgot about that, remember that time we pranked the Tsuchikage?” I asked, looking past Kakashi and looking at Rikku. RIkku nodded. “The guy hunted us down all around the village!”

Rikku put her thumb up. “He wouldn’t tell you or me about the results of the tests, of course we’re going to completely destroy his chair,” She said it as if was normal, and it was true.

My eyes widened and I almost launched myself over to Rikku to shake her and I would have, if not for Kakashi being in the way and staring at us as if weird. Pfft, it’s as if he didn’t know me. I am weird, a weird bomber artist.

“You, me and Naruto together in a prank...” I felt the excitement start to bubble up. Rikku looked at me in question, I knew she didn’t know who Naruto was. “The blonde in my team, you know,” Rikku went oh.

“That’s right, you backed him up in the first exam,” Rikku muttered and I nodded my head towards her. “He’s a prankster?” she questioned, I grinned at her. RIkku’s face broke out in the biggest grin ever. “Who’s our target?”

I laughed at the excitement in her tone. My eyes darted to Kakashi and he gave me a look. “No, you prank me and I’ll be forced to retaliate,” he warned me and my head drooped.

I heard Rikku laughed at my forlorn face. “Come on Emiko. I know your fast, but I don’t think either me or your Naruto friend could escape the Copy Ninja Kakashi Hatake’s raft,” Rikku pointed out and I smirked.

“We could take to the sky,” I replied, and then I got hit over the head lightly.

“No Emi, I’ll still get you back when you wouldn’t expect it,” he stated and I sighed sadly. “What about Iruka?” My eyes widened and I nodded my head with a smile. “However, before your pranking dream team is ready to go, you need to talk Naruto into playing nice with your… friend?”

I tensed and I looked down. Naruto… he wouldn’t be all that happy that I let Rikku come back into my life so quickly. But I did what I set out to achieve and that was to get my friend back. I looked up at Rikku with a smile. Plus, even though we’re friends again, doesn’t mean I will ever fully trust her again. She’s going to have to work hard to prove me that she’s worth trusting and Rikku doesn’t even know that she has to! It’s best that she doesn’t know that she has to do that, because then she’ll know and do it, but if she doesn’t know… then we will see if she takes my forgiveness for granted or not. See if she tries on her own merit to gain my trust.

“Even though we’ve had our up’s and downs. Rikku and I are going to work this out together, I know we’re not going to be the same as we were when we were little, one, we’re both order and two, she did try to kill me,” Rikku rubbed the back of her head with a nervous laugh. “But sensei… she was being manipulated by her family, and then Rin was manipulating her as well. I taught her the lesson you taught team seven, to not follow blindly on someone’s orders.”

Rikku’s eye widened and looked up to Kakashi. “You’re the one that taught her that?” Kakashi nodded his head and Rikku looked down towards the ground. “The only thing Yuuki-sensei taught us besides from the best way to mentally attack someone with words, was that Konoha was nothing but filled with stupid idealists… I don’t think that. They’re great ideas and things to follow.”

“Konoha is filled with stupid idealists?” Kakashi asked of the girl and I laughed at Rikku as she covered her mouth in shock.

Kakashi looked down at me and I grinned at him. “I fit right in! My ideal is that Art is Fleeting!” Kakashi sighed and rubbed his face. “Trust me sensei, that’s the nicest thing that Iwa said about Konoha. What was one of the motto’s Rikku?” Rikku tensed.

“Emiko! He’ll get all suspicious hearing those!” RIkku explained and I snickered.

“More so than he is now? I bet right now, sensei’s thinking that your waiting to kill me in my sleep,” I pointed out bluntly and she sighed. I looked up at Kakashi, and I knew I was right as well. Score for Emiko! “The most used motto used around Iwa was-“

“Revenge on Konoha, revenge on Konoha’s Yellow Flash, revenge on those who attacked us,” Rikku and I recited at the same time. I said it in a mocking tone and Rikku said it sadly.

Kakashi sighed at that. “I knew that Iwa despised Konoha for their defeat in the Third Great Shinobi War, but they teach that?” We both nodded. Kakashi looked at me and ruffled my hair. “I’m glad one of my cute little genin didn’t follow that belief.”

I laughed at that. “At first I was wary, but I didn’t really like Iwa in the first place. They mocked my art, so I shall now mock their teachings,” I said in a tone that said I’m dead serious about it.

“From what I’ve seen in Konoha… from how it has affected Emi… I like it here. It’s nicer and people aren’t treated as tools nearly as much… This place hasn’t treated Emi as a tool for the village like Iwa did,” Rikku stated and I nodded my head.

“It’s thanks to the old man Hokage,” I pointed out with a smile. “I know that it’s because of him that I didn’t go through I&T division when I first arrived and wasn’t trained into a tool ninja, but was allowed to become the arty ninja that I am!” I exclaimed and then I looked up at Kakashi. “So sensei, the preliminary exam… what happened?” I asked and Rikku got interested as well.

Kakashi tensed and he moved and lent on the wall next to my bed. “Sasuke won, Naruto won, Sakura tied with Ino,” I snickered a little. He raised an eye brow at me, well I think he did. He could have raised both of them at me and I wouldn’t have known, you know… his forehead protector covers his other eyebrow.

“No offence to them, but they’re both fangirls. Even though Sakura and I can stand each other now, until she takes her training more serious, I’m not going to respect her all that much as a ninja. As a person, sure. I can do that, but not as a ninja,” I pointed out and Kakashi sighed at me.

“Anyway… some of the battles were intense. Your sisters were paired together,” He looked at Rikku and she tensed right away.

“What did Rin do to Yumi?!” RIkku exclaimed, I could see the worry in her eyes and Kakashi looked down a little.

“She completely destroyed her mentally and then attacked her physically. I’ve never seen siblings act as so,” Kakashi muttered and Rikku looked down at the ground.

“Rin… changed after our parents were killed by Deidara. I believe in what Emi said about it being a memory altered, all of the things I knew about Emi didn’t match up with the memory that I used to believe,” Rikku muttered, rubbing the back of her neck.

“Anyway, Gaara and Lee fought… Lee lost badly. His arms and legs were crushed,” I tensed at that. “He probably won’t even become a ninja again.”

My eyes widened and I started to shake at his comment. Lee… Rock Lee, my friend… the one that pushes to me to be faster… I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and I looked up at Kakashi. He tightened the hold on my shoulder and I stopped shaking. I couldn’t worry for Lee… I know he will pull through, somehow or other.

“Chouji lost against an Oto-nin, all three of the Suna-nin won. Shikamaru won and Neji won against Hinata… that was another battle between family members that end badly… Neji almost killed Hinata,” my hand’s curled into fists and I glared down at the ground. Hinata… she didn’t deserve that! “Shino won as well.”

Rikku looked shocked. “So many Konoha Rookie’s got through. Your village has some outstanding ninja then,” I chuckled lightly, still upset about the Hinata and Lee.

Kakashi did a closed eyed smile at Rikku. “That’s why us sensei’s of the rookies put them through the chuunin exams. They’re good ninja, that and my team constantly complains about not having a challenge, particularly after the wave mission,” Rikku looked at Kakashi confused.

“Wave mission… wait! Wasn’t Zabuza Momochi killed in the country of waves recently?” She asked and we both nodded. “You’re the team that killed him?! But that’s an A-rank mission! To kill someone like him… I thought the B-rank mission I went on was tough!”

“It was a c-rank mission gone all over the place,” I informed my old friend and I rubbed the back of my neck with a little laugh.

Kakashi nodded his head at that. “We thought we lost our little village artist,” Kakashi informed her and RIkku looked at my with her eyes widened. “Anyway. Sakura just came to me to tell me the match ups,” we both looked at Kakashi, waiting for him to tell us. “Naruto and Neji are fighting in the first match. Sasuke and Gaara in the second,” I tensed at those names. Neji and Gaara are fighting my best friend and my boyfriend; I have a right to be slightly worried. “Kankuro and Shino in the third, You Emiko and Rin in the fourth and then Shikamaru and Dosu, whoever wins that battle will go against Temari in the second round,” Rikku and I looked at each other in shock. I’m facing Rin. “You have a month to train Emiko. I have a person I think could help you the best in training your earth style ninjutsu.”

I nodded my head, thinking of the things that I needed to train in this month. Blah, so much work, but it will be worth it… I hope.

“Well, I bet Rin is happy with the match up…” RIkku muttered and then shook her head. She looked up at Kakashi. “I can help Emi too, I’m an earth user and my ninjutsu is good and I know Rin’s tactic’s,” RIkku stated and my eyes widened.

“You would be against your sister for me?” I asked in total shock and she nodded her head.

“I just want the old Rin back. And I bet that the only way is to have some sense knocked into her by her greatest enemy,” Rikku informed me, making me snicker. “Plus, you’ll be annihilated by her without me.”

My eye twitched. “Great confidence boast, Rikku,” I muttered under my breath, frowning deeply. She chuckled at me.

“You’ll be allowed out of the hospital tomorrow. Head to training ground 8,” he informed me and I nodded my head. “Well, now I need to go and check on Naruto and tell him who’s training him.”

I laughed at that. “Your training Sasuke,” I pointed out and he nodded his head. “Understandable. You have the Sharingan and so does Sasuke. When you see Sasuke next, tell him we’re going to tell together sometime this training month,” Kakashi looked at me confused. I snickered. “He will know what I mean.”

Kakashi nodded and headed towards the door. “Train hard Emiko,” and then he exited the room.

I looked at Rikku and she was looking at me. “Tell together sometime this training month?” She asked of me and I felt my face go red, rubbing the back of my neck shyly.  Her eyes widened. “Oh my god! You and the last Uchiha are dating?!”

I leapt off of the bed and I slapped a hand over her mouth. “Shh! If Kakashi sensei finds out, I’ll get the birds and the bee’s talk… Sensei’s a major pervert,” I hissed into her ear and she snickered at me.

I removed my hand from her mouth. “I think it’s cute, I can’t wait for Deidara to find out though. He is going to kill him,” She sung and I groaned at that.

“I know… the worst thing is that he hates all Uchiha’s,” I muttered and she looked at me in confusion. I sighed. “We’ve got so much catching up to do.”

She nodded her head and we did just that. Talking and catching up that I forgot all about my medical information under the blankets.

*************************

I wonder if you guys saw that coming. Heh, I know some of you aren’t going to be happy about this turn around, however, it is needed for the development of the story and Emiko’s ninja development.

This chappy has been filled with random bits and pieces, but you’ve seen how Emiko and Deidara left, how Rikku and Emiko met, all that jazz.

You know what I just noticed… Emiko, Rikku, Rin, and Yumi all have the letter i in it.. actually, so does Deidara. Heh! And Iwa starts with an i. Random much, I didn’t notice that until then, oh well.

Now it’s… Question Time!!!!!

Who do you guys think is going to be Emiko’s sensei for the one month training? I have a pretty good idea on who it’s going to be and I wonder if you guys can guess it.

Righto, again, if anyone was confused about anything in the chappy, don’t be afraid to ask. I wrote this when I was sick and then edited it (the best I can… which isn’t all that good) when I’m half asleep.

Anywoozle! (I love that word!!) you all know the drill!!
