Alex has trouble with heart part of himself. He would usually choose practicality over feelings.

Neo has mind problems and puts feelings over mind.

Fun part is, they act completely opposite of what they believe.

Neo seems more practical. But his response to panic is to hold on to those he loves.

Alex would just convince himself about fear not existing and has a more fight or flight instinct. Although, Alex usually acts friendly and child-like.
