Sadness

I didn't see you at my party

Are you angry with me

Why do you judge me

In the harshest tones

I am but a queen of hearts

Who reigns over imperfection

And the epitome of sadness

It is my destiny to be awake

When the rest of the world is asleep

I will prevail over darkness

And the egregious sins of mankind.
