I have my doggie to walk in the woods

He tries to smell everything along the way

A bird's chirp makes him bark profusely

A squirrel jumping from tree to tree

Makes him go wild

I love a walk in the woods

Despite my dog's antics

The call of nature is alluring

Brisk air that's not polluted

Nice gentle sunlight

Filtered through the branches

Makes one feel alive
