Vegas
Vegas
A busy street speaks loudly in vain
As gamblers rush to achieve gain
But are ill gained riches easy to attain
In a vicarious city that flows champagne
Down boulevards of rabid visitors on cocaine
Casinos exist for the purpose to retain
As much money as is possible to drain
From the pockets of those who remain
In a fantasy of riches that is the domain
Of an industry that is eager to entertain
Those who are accustomed to the mundane
My sketch is based on a photo I took quite some time ago.
