Because I can quite easily imagine the literal daughter of the underworld being a stereotypical snobby bookworm who's going through that gawky mood swing thing where she's constantly just "oh my GAWD dad you ruin everything just let me enjoy my Twilight okay??? Like please, I need my Edward??? UGH, I don't care what you think, I'm going to my rooom!" *insert voice crack*

And somehow the bubbly highlights just add to it, like she would be the kind of person to excessively highlight every anime drawing they ever did because of course more flashy light bits =SOOPS KAWAII

(And I'm not saying that people who use this kind of highlight have an inferior style or anything, just that I can never do it without going overboard, thus it ends up looking rather silly)
