In Japanese class my teacher told us we could make nengajō (new years cards, basically) for extra credit. There's also this big contest we could enter in with it as well. I decided to give it a shot with traditional art for once.

The one thing I can thank my 8th grade art teacher for: these fancy colored pencils that mix really well :)
