There's Jacob Harris. He's 25 years old, a journalist and reporter that doesn't really believe the creatures exist. 

Then there's Savannah Evoli. She's a 17 year old, confident girl who thinks that she can take on the creatures by herself (and with Jacob's help, of course)

There's our little antagonist, named {REDACTED}, but people like to call it 'Ebony', after the Eldorian Goddess of Pain. It is taller than Savannah and Jacob and likes to hide in trees, stalking its victims.

Well time to introduce S!Ghost. S!Ghost is a shadowy version of Ghost, but not evil like Phantom. They just hangs around and sits on the sofa of the living room, staring at the fireplace in a small shack in the woods. The creatures of the night come but don't bother him that much
