Ok, so I've never explained this character and what I mean by pre-bunker and post-bunker when I talk about him, so I'm finally gonna explain. Before anything really happened in the story, he looked like this.

He was a really enthusiastic guy always looking for adventure. He had heard rumors of a strange bunker in the forest/open land near his town and would search for it whenever he could. One day, he ended up finding the bunker, and decided to go alone when his friend Tara said that she couldn't come with him that day (he didn't want to wait). But when he went in, the entrance collapsed, trapping him inside. He was trapped there for about a month, living off of food and water left behind by those there before him.

But while he was in there, he ended up accidentally spilling this strange chemical on himself, staining his body with markings that only appear under a black light. That chemical, which the whole bunker was dedicated to the research of before it was abandoned, allows a person to see and interact with these shadow-like beings that are otherwise nonexistent. This allowed the four shadow creatures remaining in the bunker to interact with him, torturing him every second he was forced to spend in there.

At first they'd do little things like try to scare him, but they progressed to attacking him for fun, leaving cuts all over his body and blinding him in his right eye. Eye naturally he was able to escape, but not after being scared for life by the things that had happened. After his recovery, he became obsessed with going back and getting rid of those creatures, creating different weapons and machines to help him fight them, just so no one would have to go through the Sam same suffering he endured for that month. He also created a fake eye that allowed him to see from where his right eye is.

Drawing black light effects is difficult. But yeah. So if you were ever wondering what I meant by these two versions of this guy, now ya know.
