3rd person P.O.V

Eli was running away. He was being chased. He was scared. "DUCK." His older brother Alec yells as he stabs the guy who tried to hurt his brother. Alec and the guy wrestled, Eli was whimpering. He looked down at a broken glass shard, he took it and stabbed the man's head. Eli sniffled and sobbed. He let go of the glass shard and the body fell down. "C'mon, we need to leave." Alec says stearnly "But what about mommy and daddy?" Eli says as he made more sniffling. Alec was dead silent, he didn't know how to tell him they're dead, but he needs to know. "Little bro... they're already with grandma and grandpa." "But, granny and ganpa are in heaven-" "exactly. Now we need to go, don't cry so much now."

"You just had to didn't you?"

"Why? You would've never been in the hospital in the first place."

"You just had to be in the explosion."

Eli stood there, nervous as the nurses and doctors led Alec to one of the rooms. "Hey little boy?" One of the nurses called "Hm?" "What's your name?" "I-I'm Eli, what's going to happen to Alec?" "Alec... is that the name of our patient?" "Yes." "Well, we aren't sure yet sweetie, but you have to wait for a while." "Okay..." "My name is nurse Lonnie." "..." "Here. Have a candy bar." "Thank you."

Hours passed and Eli has been talking with nurse Lonnie about the accident. Then a doctor just came out of the room Alec was in "Hi sweetheart." The doctor says "Hello hunny, how's the boy?" "Apparently he's in a coma, can you tell me what happened?" "The poor boy was trying to save his brother from a bombed building." Sniffling was heard from Eli "I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean t-to-" Eli tried to speak "Hey, it's okay little boy, I'm doctor Steph. What's your name?" The doctor introduced "His name is Eli, and our patient's name is Alec." Nurse Lonnie says.

They spent all day in the hospital and have agreed to let Eli stay with them so he has somewhere to sleep. Eli was stunned to how beautiful their house was they were certainly rich.

3 months had passed and it was Alec's 7th birthday! "Happy birthday big bro!" "Happy birthday Alec, our present for you is that we're... Adopting you and your brother!" Eli gasped "YOU HEAR THAT BROTHER? WE'RE GETTING ADOPTED" Eli celebrated as the doctor and the nurse were in awe of Eli being as childish as ever.

2 more months passed and as Eli was telling stories, he didn't notice Alec opening his eyes until "Where am I?" "ALEC" Eli was overjoyed, he hugged his brother tight as Eli introduced their new parents "Such a pleasure to meet you two." "Such a pleasure to finally hear our son talk." They all laughed.

2 weeks later Alec was out of the hospital and was taken to Happybuzzings (reference to an irl restaurant) and they ate there Alec was happy to be back and see Eli's joyful face. It was the greates start to his day.
