I AM NOT DEAD!!! Sorry I was at a super long hiatus and laziness and schoolwork hit me like a frying pan to the face. Anyway, the characters here were overdue since June and have finished them now (DONT JUDGE ME! /_\). Oh and also I'm gonna try something new in describing the characters if that's alright. So anyway let's get on with the show!

Mak

"History is filled with victors whose lies influence the future generations. Men and women who were inspirational leaders are branded as terrorists. Simple good samaritans are labeled as treasonous spies. Because, to do anything, it takes the will of a single man."

A creative and dangerous foe to entangle with as he wields a number of space-time powers at his disposal, some which are somehow stolen from the Tachiagaru's archives. Mak is part of the Sons of Sodai crime syndicate and a very high ranking one. Mak leads five disciples in his missions that either relate to his work or his vendetta. Nobody knows why, but Mak harbors a deep hatred towards the Tachiagarus and was responsible for a bloody massacre, the same one where the original Sodai leader was assumed missing. Mak was only leader of the Sodais for a few days until Isan Sodai mercilessly defeated him with an unknown type of power that somehow countered his space-time magic. Nobody knows how Mak looks like underneath his mask and robes, but it's confirmed that he is a feline. For those who don't know, the kanji writing on his mask mean "God".

Abilities:

Kamui - Become weightless and phase through anything, although cannot attack anything while using this ability.

Vortex - Create a black hole in its right eye and suck anything at its will. Items sucked through the black hole are transported to a private plane of existence of the user. Create a white hole to take anything out of the plane. Can also be used by the self of the user to teleport to any place of its own choosing, including the its private plane of existence.

Erase - Create a green liquid that surrounds the user's hands that once swung leaves a trail of floating liquid that quickly "erases" the space within the liquid. Anything that's within the liquid are quickly "erased". Items that are "erased" cannot be recovered never again. Any space that is "erased" is "sewn back together" by "teleporting" anything near its vicinity together.

Bite the Dust - A failsafe that, if anyone who knows the user's true identity, are erased from existence and time is reversed by 1 hour. If in that timeline the victim doesn't learn the user's name, they are immune to erasure, but cannot relearn the user's identity. The location of this failsafe is unknown.

Maria-Nette

"Want to see my head come off?"

In her time centuries ago, she was a maid for a royal family, but had a very sadistic personality that she would constantly "experiment" on them. At first, she just slightly poisoned their water supply and sometimes moved furniture around as an "appetizer", but quickly moved on to more fiendish acts. She started defacing the family's dolls, leaving threats scratched on the marble countertops, and leaving "bodies" hanged on the chandelier, which were just very convincing scarecrows. Then Maria (Back then her name) found the joy of manipulating puppets, the way they would obey only her and nobody else and the way their little wooden bodies broke if doing a strenuous pose or move. She then decided to do the first most horrific act of her life, turning the family's son, who was the heir, into a puppet of flesh. The process didn't take long, and neither the mob that formed to have her banished away or be killed for her crimes against the laws of nature. But most of them met the same fate as the heir, amassing her puppet army. All the while she learnt how to implement weaponry into her puppets by a hag whose name was forgotten long ago. Her reign of terror lasted for five years, her age being then 17 years old, and contained 674 flesh puppets. Her reign was then ended by the ancestor of a marble fox named Kira (Yes I will follow up on this in the next chapter). Although she was killed, at the present her spirit was brought back to life by Sune and his warlock master (Sune's coming up next!) who desired her loyalty to the Sons of Sodai in exchange for secrets of puppetry. She answered yes and then gave her numerous scrolls regarding dark magic puppetry that would make her many times worser. The most crucial piece of info given to her is that she can recreate the magic from the person she has made into a puppet and she can mimic powers of others by creating a puppet with a curse sign of power with the name of the magic user she is recreating. Her puppet army amassed until the ten-thousands and keeps them contained into two simple storage scrolls with unending space within them. Her lust for puppets can't be quenched only when she gets a person whose of interest to her and turns them into a puppet. Although she is a spirit, she is susceptible salt, water, and enchanted iron weapons as it can easily dissipate her form for a couple of minutes. With this weakness, she has trained herself to wield up to fifty puppets if the fight's not going her way. Even with this, she can be put to rest, but nobody knows how and why or if she is just one of the many who want to see life wither away. Her appearance consist of her old maid outfit, pristine yet ethereal. She is a light blue dragon with, strangely enough, fur and ears instead of scales. Bleached-blue wisps emanate from her since she is a spirit.

Abilities:

Energetic Binding - Create strands out of pure blue energy and manipulate anything it sticks. If it sticks to a sentient being, it can free itself if it is strong enough. This can also be used as a grappling hook or to impale enemies with.

Hellish Blizzard - Ability to grant temporary sentience to a puppet, only obeys to Maria-Nette

Possess - Like all ghosts, she can possess any sentient being, but she immediately learns the being's identity, personality, and info that has been forgotten.

Sune

"That is your brain comprehending your own stupidity!"

An alligator alchemist exiled from his home, he has a vendetta against those who have a "superior body type" than him. Sune was born in a reptilian village that was at the coast of a swamp. He was constantly beat on because he both didn't have a gang and didn't have the strength to fight them. With him being an outcast, he spent most of his life cooped up in his room if he wasn't in what he called a "school only built for brain-dead primates". Overcome with boredom, he then decided to "play with chemicals", which then unleashed a passion of his. Many of the potions required rare plants, but with the swamp it came in the dozens. He used his potions to not only experiment on the "citizens", but to make them learn that every action has an opposite and equal reaction. He then decided to make the so-called war chief of the village to drink one of his potions since the "stupid winged kobold made us weaklings clean up after the endless destruction in this forsaken village!". Sune stalked the war chief, which was a ginormous muscular dragon who had numerous weapons around his belt, and, disguised as a merchant, gave the war chief his potion as a token of thanks for making this village great (he almost vomited after saying that). Although the potion was made to teach him a lesson by making him unfit to fight by creating constant small explosions inside him, he underestimated on how much of the secret ingredient was needed. And what followed literally painted the town red. If you were there at the village, you would see a dark-green blur speed past you with splotches of crimson. Sune may not be big and strong, but he was amazingly quick and agile as he packed all his things and immediately skipped out of town constantly muttering "oh shit". What he didn't expect was a flipping manhole that made him fall into the tomb of a temple (if you must know he made a satisfying thwack when he hit floor). There were numerous sarcophagi lining the walls and seemingly guarding what seemed to be a jade eye with a gold iris. Like all cliches, he touches it and then gets knocked out. And when he wakes up, he sees in his reflection that his left eye became the jade eye. When he looked to a bat that was chilling on a stalactite, he saw every piece of info about the bat, including stats that are similar to a stats page interface of an RPG game. Not only that, but showed strengths and weaknesses and emotional state. When he looked up at the hole he fell from, holographic diagrams appeared, cycling through possible ways of escape until it showed an open door at the side. When he then escaped, he encountered a snake warlock who he impressed enough to be given a position as a Sons of Sodai member and the snake's apprentice. Sune's appearance is an average-sized, thin dark green hide and a slightly lighter shade of green in its underbelly scales.

Abilities:

Reptilian Hardiness - Able to regenerate health in a slow but sure rate.

Weak Acid Control - Able to manipulate a small amount of acid and create about a small-sized pool of acid

Jade Eye
Observe - Concentrate to the being and see stats similar to a video game. List out strengths, weaknesses, phobias, and powers.

Search - Think a name and a mental picture of the person is made and their location if they're in a mile radius.

Path - Create a mental route of the best route Sune can go.

Discover - Find items of interest in a mile radius.

Miwa

"You truly are the lowest scum in this universe."

Orphaned and kidnapped, this cold, tanky six-tailed Kitsune of sound pledges her loyalty to the Sons of Sodai after being rescued. Miwa grew up alone in the streets, stealing to live and helping other orphans from law enforcement. She hated the law since she had an opportunity to go live with her aunt when her parents died at age 3, but law enforcement raided her aunt's place, took all her possessions and money, and after a week she killed herself. Then one fateful day, when she was just browsing a farmer's market with a handful of coins, was kidnapped by a sheriff who wanted what Miwa didn't know she had: her parents' will and her rare sound abilities. Back then Miwa would only replicate sound to lure cops away from runaways and distract shopowners to obtain food and could only create a small sound barrier in her palms. The reason for Miwa's will was that it was found in the aunt's house and was just taken as any other piece of evidence, until the sheriff found out that it had quite the amount of zeroes in it. What he hadn't anticipated was that she can't write, much less read words. But the sheriff was eliminated a few days after and Miwa was freed by the new leader Isan Sodai as she saw a vast amount of potential in Miwa's power over sound. In the span of a few months, Miwa was able to improve her abilities and learn many others. Till this day she still is loyal to the syndicate and upholds her savior's values. When she was ordered to answer to Mak as his disciple by Isan herself, she immediately agreed and thanked Isan. Miwa is a tall and kind-of bulky with a cold personality to add to intimidation. Her fur is a light purple with stereo mesh protruding out of her, like her ears, cheeks and eye, and her tails have retro sound bars glowing different colors. Her hands have cobweb-like patterns that allow her to focus on sound to create a sound barrier in her palms.

Abilities:

Sound Blast - Create a spike of sound that pushes anyone in its range away. If it hits the ground, it creates a seismic quake depending on power.

Sound Wave - Release a burst of sound in any direction to take out targets at a range.

Charge - Charge up sound in the user's palms to create a devastating super punch that can shatter even adamantium. Miwa is immune to any damage caused from this.

Reverb - Replicate any type of sound by writing a kanji for sound on any surface and saying the type of sound. User can control on how loud it is.

Miwa is immune to any sonic damage.

The Demon Duo

Rakun

"Good grief, don't underestimate me just because I'm a kid."

A raccoon from a rich family who was gifted with a Tachiagaru demon by reasons unknown. Rakun, the thirteenth named in his family, was the prize child out of a litter of eight. His family was one of the wealthiest in his hometown, situated borderline of the Tachiagaru District. The cause of their fortune is only traced by Rakun the First, who is suspected of swindling a rich, old man out of his fortunes. Nowadays they pursue only entertainment and pleasure, dining in only the finest exotic food, or the fast-food joint across the street (they're raccoons what did ya expect?).  Rakun was the one spoiled the most since he was his parents' favorite (side note he was the third oldest), but he was constantly teased of his small stature and porky image, ironically most raccoons are like that. Then one day a masked fellow brought him into an alley and knocked him out. Later that day at night, he woke up to see a chunky raccoon whose fur was matted with sand, dirt, and glowing crystals right in front of him. At first, he was at awe at the sight of this creature, then he looked at his watch that said 9:53 and then he booped the critter's nose, which in turn made Chikyu bite his entire finger, and led into a spinning tornado of fur and dirt and crystals. After a few hours of pain, they decided to be cool to each other and headed home, but then they were stopped by a group of robbers. To say Chikyu killed them all would not be specific enough: he pulverized one with a flurry of fists, another he yeeted into the distance, another he shredded with his crystals, and two he devoured. Yeah there's your details. So, after the bloodshed there, Rakun simply shrugged it off and went on his merry way to his mansion (somebody watched one too many violent movies he developed an immunity). Once he got back, he let Chikyu roam around and do whatever it wanted (apparently it was to create multiple dust storms in the rooms and create crystals in the jacuzzi room as to relax) and although his litter mates were furious, his parents actually praised them and let Rakun and Chikyu have many more privileges. That was the last straw for his siblings as they decided to take him out in his sleep. Then a piece of paper flew in with a name written in and there they read out loud the name. Rakun walked in and he saw a small figure exit his eye and rip all of his litter mates somehow out of existence and then he woke up in the same alley with Chikyu and when he read the time it said 9:53. He had an inner panic attack as he just witnessed his siblings die and he was transported back in time. He decided to skip town when he saw a familiar cloaked figure with a vortex-like mask. He immediately chased him and tackled him, only to pass through him somehow. He looked at the figure and saw a single red eye piercing through his and Chikyu's souls and almost fell sick in the stomach. The masked figure extended his hand, which Rakun regrettably took. Rakun asked countless questions to him, but the only answer he got was "Mak". When they reached Mak's safehouse, he realized he wasn't the only one this figure has taken under his wing. Then he saw who he calls now Sugoi and his heart skipped a beat, Chikyu's more. He was to be a roommate to the reclusive kitsune demon as she isn't very loyal to the syndicate as she is only using the Sons of Sodai to have vengeance on someone. Chikyu immediately fell in love with Sugoi because she was a powerful Kitsune demon. Although he was left with nothing and outcasted by his family, Chikyu was at reluctant at first but helped finance Rakun by giving him crystals he created. Mak then told Rakun why he was gifted with Chikyu: it is to torment his previous user's murderers. He may have been powerless before acquiring Chikyu, but he was then given a partial amount of Chikyu's demonic abilities that continuously surprises friends and foes alike. Rakun is a regular raccoon with similar colors but with the difference of being bipedal and has bright green eyes. He is short and chubby, but very quick and agile. Chikyu is a Godzilla-sized demon if it's in its full power. He is a raccoon who doesn't have fur which is replaced by sand and dirt. Closing crystals adorn it's body and it's tail is pure crystal. Chikyu has an arcane symbol of earth on its gut.

Abilities:

Earth Manipulation - Total control over dirt, sand, stone, and crystals.

Demonic Sense - Grants demon senses that allows the user to see demons, stands, and spirits.

Energy Orb - Create an orb of pure demonic energy that has a gargantuan blast radius.

"Sugoi"

"Victory is not measure by losses, Shin... It is measured by gains."

A powerful kitsune demon whose past she refuses to reveal, but only that she has vendetta against a certain someone. Most don't know (except Mak) but Sugoi wasn't a kitsune demon before, but in fact, a weasel ninja and Sugoi isn't her real name. She has been cursed to be one after an unexpected victory against another kitsune demon. He, the demon, wanted to feed on a vengeful spirit and stumbled upon Sugoi, who was beaten up and hungry. Albeit he was cocky, it would have been easy to wipe out an injured mortal, but it was all a charade. Sugoi delivered blow after blow after blow onto the demon, even when she was losing too much blood. Although Sugoi defeated the demon, in his last moments, he transferred all his demonic energy into Sugoi to either kill her or if she survives she would be cast from society due to her being a bloodthirsty kitsune. Sugoi turned into one, and she was immediately hunted down and with a bounty on her head. Mak then encountered her when she was meditating on a waterfall. When Sugoi refused Mak's offer, they both dueled, Mak winning, but narrowly. Sugoi, when she met Sune, Miwa, and Maria-Nette, she didn't even bother acknowledging them. She insisted on being in a room apart from the others, which Mak accepted. During her stay, she never communicated with any of her teammates except Mak. And then came Rakun and Chikyu. Rakun insistes to bunking with Sugoi, much to her dismay. But it made her open up more with the others and even participated with their occasional game nights. Sugoi's fur is a white which is warm to the touch and has multiple black markings. She has nine tails, each depicting different elements. She has the kanji writing of "kitsune" on her forehead, depicting her curse. Over her ears there are yokai flames that appear whenever she is emotional. Her outfit beneath her Sons of Sodai robe is a Japanese kimono that those with kitsune powers normally have.

Abilities:

Elemental Control - Manipulation of all elements (commonly referred as the Aether element)

Demonic Sense - Grants demon senses that allows the user to see demons, stands, and spirits.

True Demon Nature - Grants the ability to control lesser demons completely.

Dragonfly - If Sugoi uses an elemental attack against someone who has the same element, it does extra damage against the target and creates an elemental explosion.

Requiem - Ability to repeat a situation up to three times in order to calculate the best strategy or to se should opponents next move.

Discord - Sugoi is forced to harm any other creature that shares the Aether element or is a demon themselves unless Sugoi can resist the temptation.

Harmony - Any allies that are near Sugoi's vicinity gain a passive healing and power regeneration and are able to sense where they are. The radius is 30 feet.
