Hi! As the title says, i did a study on a Cicada... well just the Nymph exoskeleton anyway. We just call them Cicada shells. 
As i have put on the page, there are colour palettes which i stuck to. For each study i turned the shell around so i could try a different angle (yes, i was actually holding one). 
My favourite is number 2 because the colours look so nice together and it looks like it belongs on Blade Runner with that colour scheme. 
Number 4 (bottom, left) was the hardest because those colours didn't really correlate and working out the shades from light to dark were not fun.
