This is my entry for Writers-Haven 's cover contest. We had to create a mystery cover... It is a bit of a tricky one to create a cover for because there are so many different types of mysteries. 
This was the original picture that i picked from the three choices:

hopefully i didn't have to cut it down to size or anything. This is what i created from it:

I used Photoshop CC 2015 and a range of stock images.
I do not own any of the pictures incorporated into this cover.
