A few weeks back i found Krita (a bit behind the times, sorry), so i mucked around on it for a bit. Here is what i have come up with so far.

This was with one of the many brushes i don't know how to use yet. It looked pretty cool so i kept it. 

This one here is everything else that wasn't a lazy muck around. Okay, Sketch dump time!
Top Left- An eye with one of the painting brushes. It looks a bit like it belongs to Studio Ghibli now that i think about it.

Top middle- Another eye (the most drawn facial feature that i do- eyes everywhere). This pen was trickier because it was transparent so it was giving me hell at first. 
Top Right- yep, you guessed it! An eye! 
Bottom Left- It was just a quick sketch, but it ended up looking a bit like Annie from AoT so i am keeping it at that.
Bottom middle- Oh look! Another eye! this pen was the bolder, thicker cousin of the pen used in my squiggle artwork from above. 
Bottom right- Need i say more. Yes, i do. An eye XD. This one is actually my favourite one- looks very manga...ery.
Far Bottom Right- A grumble face.
