Okay I didn't think I'd need to say this, but here I am:

I am well aware that tracing other people's art and calling it my own is not right. But that is not what I'm doing with my digital art; I am tracing the line art of a reference and then using the reference as a base to color in my outline. I am not saying the original is mine, but the version that I colored is mine. I also make sure to alter at least something from the colors to make it more original to me, even if it's just the background.

I am also doing this as means of practice because I am brand new to digital art. I don't have the ropes yet and I am tracing other people's art and coloring it in myself to get practiced with digital art before I draw my own OCs or fanart.

I also post these things on here because I am proud of how it looks. I know I usually ask for constructive criticism, but for these for now I just want to share my progression. If you have tips, great, give em to me, but please keep criticism to yourself. I know tracing is not the way to go, and I have no intention of only tracing my art. I am practicing.
