Ryan is a beautiful young woman who usually keeps up her good looks for anyone who may pass her by. Especially for her ex-boyfriend, Jake. Despite choosing to break up with him in front of the whole school and her best friend, Trinity, spreading rumors about Jake, causing him to have to move schools, Ryan will do anything to get back with him. Despite her not really caring that I move on and find someone else. But soon she realizes her true feelings and tries to get Jake to get back with her, but to no avail. Ryan is cunning, sassy, and always agrees with whatever Trinity says she should do. And she's super serious about her trying to get Jake back, despite causing them to break up in the first place. And she even goes as far as to teaming up with Chad Hunter to get close to Jake, not knowing his true intentions. Eventually, Ryan begins to learn something different about her. She discovers that she's not entirely human, but part siren. And that she was meant to do good rather than evil. Unfortunately, she can't find a way out of her newfound group. But despite not fully understanding herself, she eventually comes to her senses as she goes to Jake, not for love, but to use her new powers for good and take down the evil monster hunters once and for all and maybe even becomes good friends with Jake. And she might possibly even find someone else to love for herself.

BACKSTORY:
This may surprise you, but Ryan actually came from a whole different planet, populated by Sirens. She was supposed to grow up to rule the planet to someday go to Earth to make peace with the humans, but her planet was suddenly on the road to destruction and she had to be sent to Earth sooner than expected. When she gets there, she is adopted by the principal of Greenwood High School and raised as a human, who was completely unaware of her powers for a long time. If you thought that was upsetting, Ryan was bullied for most of her school days and no one wanted to be her friend. But that all changed when she met Jake, who was quick to be friends with her. And it was then, that they began to fall in love. Well, at least Jake did. In high school, they were still friends and Ryan and Jake even started dating. Unfortunately, she also met and befriended a girl named Trinity, who wasn't a fan of the 2 dating and told Ryan she should break up with him, which she does in order to keep her as a friend. After the break up, Ryan and Trinity continued to be besties as Ryan sort of feels bad for it. Eventually, again, Ryan discovers her secret powers and begins to question her very existence. Could this be the powderkeg to activate her redemption arc?
