ever since i binged this fic (canary by cloud_nine_and_three_quarters on Ao3) i've just,,, had this vivid image and i could hardly focus until it was real lmao

there was a messier first sketch approximation but i deleted the layer so it's gone forever now. also i feel the need to preface that i couldnt find a ref image to help me with the perspective so i just winged it, no pun intended

the amount of times i nearly forgot about the wings is genuinely absurd.

Anyway I want to freshen up my art style and make it nicer since I'm not happy with it but I need to focus on writing atm to get a mini fic done but it's so frustrating bc I really want to draw things and make more animatics (bc apparently I'm addicted now I guess) BUT I've just gotta be patient and get things done like a big girl lmao it's fine I'm fine everything's fine–
