Chemistry Behind the Infection (WIP)

Sooooooo there's ALOT that goes on in an Aphanzium-Infected body, and there's a lot to talk about that you might not get if you aren't into chemistry ;w;
I'm not joking, this takes up like 4 pages of a small journal i have- XDD

So the main line of chemistry is, also what I call "combining line"
H2O+Az+3I —> HI+HIO+AzI
And written out, this is
Water, Aphanzium, and three Iodine atoms, yields Hydrogen Iodide, Hypoiodous Acid, and Aphanzite Iodide
(Talk about a mouthful)

So now we have HI, HIO, and AzI.
HI belongs in the stomach, HIO belongs in the eyes and tentacles of an infected, and AzI is pigment and energy.
And because of this, the things that take place, or what I call "bodily lines"

HCl+HI —> ICl+H2
(Hydrochloric Acid and Hydrogen Iodide create Iodide Monochloride and Hydrogen Gas)
H2O+HIO —> I+H3O2
(Water and Hypoiodous Acid create Iodine and Bihydroxide aka. "living water")
H2O+AzI —> I+Az+H2O
(Water and Aphanzite Iodide create/deconstruct Iodine, Aphanzium, and Water)

So then there's all of this stuff, half of it being corrosive and/or deadly 👍

ICl- "Iodine Monochloride is a black, crystalline solid or a reddish- brown liquid. It is used to make other chemicals, in laboratories, and as a disinfectant."
But also "..Iodine Monochloride is a CORROSIVE CHEMICAL and contact can severely irritate and burn the skin and eyes with possible eye damage. * Breathing Iodine Monochloride can irritate the nose and throat."
This is in their stomach- basically just don't breath in the puke and you're fine as a bystander.

And take the notes for Aphanzium itself:
Element 119
Symbol: Az
Group: 1/Alkali Metals
Charge: +1
Appearance: White, translucent crystal/metal that naturally occurs in caves. Gives a light, white glow. As it ages, it eventually becomes a black, brittle crystal.

Aphanzite Iodide-
Symbol: AzI
A base. A black powder similar to NaCl in texture. When mixed with water, creates a thick, sticky, black colloid (liquid-solid). Similar to tar in consistency, it stains and pigments most things it touches. It can be found anywhere in an infected body, including the stomach, eyes, blood, tentacles, etc.

Hydrogen Iodide-
Symbol: HI
A strong, corrosive acid towards the eyes, respiratory tract, and skin. Found in the stomach of infected, and gains a slight tint of red when mixed with weaker acids similar to those in citrus fruits. (haha- when the lemon-)

Hypoiodous Acid-
Symbol: HIO
A weak acid that is found in the eyes and tentacles of the infected. Usually mixed with AzI and water to create a heterogeneous mixture, being colored black.

So I'm still trying to figure everything out- hopefully this makes somewhat sense to you- :3
