"Y'know you liiiiiiike him!~" Lily sang to a now red faced Ripple.

Ripple puffed his cheeks in embarrassment "Oh!!! Look!! A...um...a boulder! I'm just gonna go over there!!" Ripple dashed over to the boulder and hid behind it.

He heard the laughter of Lily and Icefall and the chuckling of Falcon. He glanced over at them and frowned.

"What's wrong with you?"

Ripple jumped at the voice and turned around seeing Scorch. "I...um...I..." He glanced over at the boulder and placed his talon on it "I was looking at this boulder, it's, um, it's interesting...." Ripple smiled nervously at Scorch.

Scorch arched a brow and sighed "Okay then."

"Oh look Lily!!!"

Ripple eyes widened and he looked up seeing Icefall and Lily on top of the boulder. "It's our good pal Ripple and Scorch!!" Ripple groaned and collapsed to the ground "Leave me here to diiiiiieeeeee...." He covered his face with his wings and heard Icefall and Lily laughing.

"Relax kid, they're messing with you." Ripple lifted up one wing and saw Falcon. He sat up with his wings drooping and head leaning on the boulder. He mouthed out to Falcon 'Help me' and he nodded.

Falcon shooed away Icefall and Lily then winked at Ripple before following the laughing duo.

"I'm confused." Ripple looked over at Scorch seeing him still there. "Oh uh sorry, it was nothing." He said trying to avoid the subject.

Scorch tilted his head slightly and shrugged. "Alright, but we gotta go, History is going to start soon and I don't think Webs will be happy if we're late again." Ripple nodded and got up along with Scorch.

Ripple looked at Scorch along the way, admiring him.

"Your staring." Ripple flinched and looked the other way "Sorry!!" He said, well, more like yell.

"Now your yelling." Ripple blushed and puffed his cheeks again embrassment. "Sorry..."

Scorch chuckled at Ripple's reaction. Ripple looked at him in surprise and saw him staring back at him. "You laughed."

"I believe it's called a chuckle but, yes, I laughed. Is there a problem?" Ripple shook his head "No, not at all. I was just surprised, I made you, Scorch, the grumpiest dragon I ever met, laugh." Scorch shrugged "I admire you, you make me laugh, smile, and overall just happy."

Scorch spread his wing over Ripple who's face began to turn red. "You admire me?"

Scorch nodded "Of course I do idiot, I admire you a lot!" Realization hit Scorch and he looked the other way, clearing his throat. "Ahem, well, let's go."

"Scorch..." Scorch looked at Ripple who was smiling "You have no idea how happy I am to hear that cause I admire you too!!" Ripple laughed.

"Yeah, well, same here." Scorch said, smiling back at Ripple. "Now, I'm serious, let's go or Webs will have our heads."
