Caini are a CLOSED SPECIES, so do not make one without permission. They will be obtainable through adopts, customs (maybe), or if I just give you one (this is highly unlikely however).

Appearance:

Caini are a species based on the combination of wolves and bats. Each have a very short fur that covers a majority of their bodies, and a thicker layer of fur on their underbelly going partway down their tails. They have large wings to support themselves in flight that are each around the length of their bodies, with a single clawed finger on each. Their legs have sharpened points at their elbows and that somewhat resemble those of a wolf. Each foot has three padded toes with large, hooked claws used to grasp onto the rocky terrain of the mountains in which they live.
They each have three horns on their heads, with the top-most horn differing from caini to caini. They have large spikes that go down the length of their bodies to the tips of their tails. Caini have large ears which they use to hear the small movements of prey. Each caini is around three feet tall and five to six feet long, depending on the tail length.

General Info:

Caini give live birth since they are based off of mammalian species. Each caini matures at a rate similar to that of a human's. They are able to fly when they are very young, usually when they are around three years old. This is due to the fact that many caini live in caves on the sides of the mountains, which would be difficult to reach without the ability of flight. Caini are omnivores who will eat small animals like lizards that they find on the mountain side, as well as fish that they catch from the ocean and streams bordering or inside their territory. A majority of their diet, however, is based around fruits and vegetables that they grow along the streams in the flatter parts of their territory. This is due to the lack of prey in the mountains for them to hunt. In the winter, Caini often have to resort to trade with other tribes in order to have enough food to survive.

Abilities:

Caini have sharp, hooked claws that can be good for grasping prey and predators, though they do not commonly use them as a weapon. They have sharp teeth that they use as their main physical combat weapon. Each caini also has the ability to breath a powerful focused stream of fire.

Society:

Caini have a hierarchical society, where there is a king and a queen who have ultimate power over the kingdom. To become king, a caini must be of royal blood. If the current king dies without a son to be his heir, the eldest male of his relatives will become king. If an heir cannot be found, the queen will take full control of the kingdom and will choose the next king when she wishes to.
There are different classes of caini. The upper class consists of the king and queen, along with generals and relatives of the royal family. Middle class caini are typically merchants, who are responsible for the trades with other species, and soldiers, who work under the generals. The lower class consists of hunters and farmers, who have to do the work that the middle and upper classes would rather not do.
