So here are screenshots I took of the MAIN DETAILS IN THE ONE SHOT SMH

So let me explain.

Squid had (maybe) 2 brothers. Cain and Ethan. Cain stole a book from the library and lost it, but Squid didn't help (you bastard). I am apart from Ethan though. He may be a brother or a good friend, but the way he said "Mother will get angry" made me think Ethan stole the book and lost it just so his brother could die. Just think about it.

The way Squid didn't help find it, and he saw his own brother die, he must have broken down.

ETHAN just watches in the square, holds Squid down and tells him to look away.

Why. Ethan could have fought. But I think he was the one who purposely hid the book so Cain couldn't find it and get killed.
