I'm probably gonna wait until I finish Experimental and/or get farther along in No Turning Back, but... I have an AU idea.

Cocowritesstuff has inspired me to make an AU based off of a video game. The video game I chose is my favorite survival game, The Long Dark. I highly recommend it :D unless you dont like a godd***n every once in a while (the character gets a bit frustrated when they can't start a fire lol).

The specific game mode is Wintermute, which is the story mode, since that's the only game mode where there's more than one character.

So basically Socks (in the actual game, Mackenzie) is a pilot, and Meme (Astrid) is an actual doctor for once. There's Memesfor1 ships, but that's just because Mackenzie and Astrid used to be married, and got divorced. Yes Mackenzie is a boy. Anyway, Meme needs Socks to take him to the farthest of far Northern Canada, an area known as Great Bear island. It's been a dangerous place ever since Canada's economy crash and the Collapse, which is why it's an island in the first place. It's also incredibly cold, since it's really far north. But Meme needs to get there because there's a place called Perseverance Mills that is suffering from a disease, and he has the medicine to help.

So Socks reluctantly agrees, and they fly to Great Bear Island. But not too long after they started flying over it, a geomagnetic storm (basically the aurora borealis) caused the plane to crash in the Great Bear wilderness. Now they are separated, and must find each other and Perseverance Mills, as well as get back home, before it is too late.

And lets just say that it gets CRAZY up there at times.
