I crawled on the ground. I couldnt use my legs. It was just my arms now. I was loosing all energy, all hope . . . everything was gone. It was dark. The hall seemed to strech into infinity. Just the darknes, and those flickering lights. My hands burned from pain. My abdomen hurt from hunger. My head felt like it was going to explode. I didnt even feel my legs. They were gone. There was nothing to feel there.

I felt my arms loosing strenght. I couldnt drag myself further anymore. But it was there. It was there. It was coming.

For me. 

A light shufle in the darkness behind me could be heard. I picked all my last strenght, to pull myself at least few millimeters. A light flickered on in the hallway. Just few centimeters. So close.

But i could feel the darkness warping around me like a jello. It was hard to move in it, it was getting thicker.

It was here.

I pulled myself once again, using all my strenght. It was the few centimeters between life and death. 

Into the light

Im in the light.

My chances of survival were practically none. I was loosing blood. All of it. And it was here, right next to me. It couldnt touch the light. That was my only chance to survive.

The light flickered.

Oh no

I stared it right into its glowing white eyes. It knew the light woulnt stay on for too long. It waited.

The light flickered again.

I watched in horror, as the light turned off.

My chanes of survival were gone.

Gone like me.

Two slimey tentacles warped around me. 

,,Finnaly''

,,Revenge''

It said slowly, with its raspy voice. The tentacels started warping around me tighter. And tighter. I could feel my ribs breaking from the pressure. I couldnt breathe. 

It didnt tighten me more. Just enough, that i could slowly suficate on my own blood, pouring from the holes that the broken ribs made.

I wanted to cry, at least for my last time. But there were no more tears to use. The creature let go of me. I fell to the ground, unmoving, but still contious. It leaned over me. Watching me die.

I didnt feel anything anymore. Just the light above me. 

The light . . .
