So in this au, heatwave is 10 and hotshot is 7. note that this au takes place in rescue bots academy and Quickshadow is actually one of the teachers in this au.

Minor heatwave attempts to teach Youngling hotshot how to rescue 'perfectly' but the two end up in dangerous situations  and heatwave in this au is pretty reckless and kinda stupid. Letting hotshot and himself get into dangerous rescues that they know they cant do.  Only realizing the danger when there already head first into it.

The two of them are orphans that managed to sneak through the ground bridge during a maintenance check 

Headcanons :

- Minor Heatwave actually has dyslexia and hence why he didn't bother to learn how to read.

- Youngling hotshot consider minor heatwave as his older brother and calls  heatwave Big brother

- Minor heatwave favorite snack is lemon cakes and would pretty much do anything just to get it.

-Youngling hotshot is very hyper at times and can run around the whole academy if heatwave let him.

-Minor heatwave is very stubborn and sometimes ignores people if he thinks that whatever there saying is stupid/useless

- Minor heatwave water blasters is actually clogged, making it hard to spray water.

-Heatwave cares alot about hotshot's wellbeing and overall health and takes care of hotshot when he's sick.

- Minor heatwave has Iatrophobia (Fear of doctors) and avoids medics at all cost, the reason why his blasters are still clogged, he refuses to get a doctor to examine it.
