Flaw (StringStitchesVerse!Error)

Above is Flaw, my Error from my book String Stitches which I am rewriting and currently also creating a whole Multiverse. I didn't trace any blank body poses, instead for this one I hand sketched him and then traced my own hand sketch digitally. I know I messed up on the close up of his opened jaw, I forgot to sketch out the teeth in there, but I think I'm slowly getting better!

As you can see in the picture, you can see why the Multiverse is called "StringStitchesVerse" and the story itself is called String Stitches. Everyone is stitched together, not just Flaw, however they are stitched together in different places on their body. Some may share areas but Flaw is the only one who is stitched together fully. Meaning his whole body, where is bones meet for example and some other areas, are stitched together.

The stitches can become loose and even fall apart, when that happens they can be tightened or stitched back together with new strings. But when that does happen, the body part can open up or fall off, and even if it just loosens a bit blood, dust and liquid magic can seep out of it until stitched back together or tightened once more.

Flaw, as shown above, has many wounds that are stitched together, not just where his joints meet. His mouth for example, looks like a bloody smile and is stitched together. When loosened or fully free, his bottom half of his face, his jaw, is only hanging on by an inch if that. Half his face is pretty much stitched together too, meaning that if they become undone half his face can come right off.

Luckily for Flaw he can do many things others can't given his role and ability to not die by, I guess you could call it normal means. Say the stitches on his neck come undone and his head comes off - he'll live. His strings almost have a life of his own and he can control them if he wants to with enough concentration if they don't move on their own, so his body can reattached itself and stitch itself back together. He also, depending on the magic and situation, can move his body still even if not attached together.

Flaw, in terms of personality, has changed as well. Some things have stayed the same; he is blunt, honest, protective and a bit on the possessive side of things, and doesn't understand others. He is awkward and is very dangerous given his role. However, like I said, there are changes. Flaw, out of nearly all my Errors, is the most like his former self despite having no memories of his AU (StringsTale) and his past before becoming a glitch. It's why he is called 'Flaw' because in Fate's mind and words, he is a flawed destroyer. Not what Fate was fully looking for or wanted.

Flaw is a gentlemonster, although he does have a tempter that can show depending on the situation. He is someone of few words and, for reasons unknown to himself, does have manners and knows, what he would call, random things; like what fork to use first in a fancy dinner/meal, bowing, kissing a hand, dancing, etc. He has no idea why he knows all this, he doesn't even question how he knows or why, but he does. Even with all his manners however, he is still brutally honest and blunt to the point of being rude without even meaning to.

He loves stories of all kinds, as well as music. From plays, to musicals, to puppet shows, he loves them all and does them with his friends and those he sees as family. For someone of few words, he knows how to act and act well. He's a wonderful story teller, in both action and words or even just one or the other.

While he is more like how he once was, he's not that person anymore and time being the destroyer and forgetting his past has changed him. Layers, contradictories, and so much more are in him. I don't want him one dimensional, I want him three dimensional. He's still being worked on, along with other characters and the Multiverse as a whole, but I'm getting there!

Just going to give a heads up, a lot of characters are not going to be the same as they once were in this new version/rewrite. The story itself is going to change quite a bit along with the characters. For example, Abstract, the Ink of StringStitchesVerse, has no idea who the destroyer is - in fact many don't know Flaw is it and there are multiple reasons for this. A little warning about Abstract, he's not what you're going to expect either - if anyone can guess his personality and characteristics then I'll be shocked.

Just seeing Flaw alone is a heads up to these facts I like to thinks. About how different it'll be.

I hope everyone enjoyed seeing the new version of Flaw~! Now, time to work on more characters!
