[A protocol underwent by Disassembly Drones when their systems are at risk of annihilation due to a virus. It forces the Drone to find a cooperative party, after which it releases Nanites, forming a cocoon as the drones inside melt, not before their hardware gets put in the cocoon itself, protecting them. The body is then rebuilt, all the hardware inside. It merges the two hosts as the virus is purged. It's consciousness slowly fuses, but is always able to separate when one or more parties want to. If all parties are comfortable with the new form, and all agree, then they can make the form permanent, fully merging their consciousnesses. Has long since implementation been dormant, seems o not work anymore.]
