CLIMIN?
So, this is gonna be the first chapter of a maybe book I'm just dumping right here, so if y'all wanna see the art just skip to the bottom.
"PLEASE, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!"
She fought against the guards dragging her through the hallway, the padding on the walls seeming to get closer and closer to her, suffocating her.
"I'M CLIMIN! WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE ME? ANYONE, JUST DO ANYTHING!"
She screamed into the guards' ears, as they turned to the side, not reacting to her. Tears streamed down her face, as she cried out, but nobody turned an eye. Just another crazy freak. The guards opened a door and shoved her onto the padded floor, still screaming and crying. She rushed to the door, as it closed fast and swift before her, her outstretched hand falling to the ground.
She looked up to the ceiling, the red alarm glass shining in the dull light. It was too high for her to reach, but she stared up at her reflection, seeing a black shadow smiling inside.
Climin jumped backwards and screamed, landing back on the ground. She saw the glare overtake red on the glass as the shadow disappeared.
"The hell..."
The door opened again, guards taking her out once more and placing her in a glass room, where she could see a girl in a white suit and a clipboard in hand, her red hair swishing slightly as she reached for the small microphone on the other side of the glass.
"Number..."
She glanced at her clipboard for a second as the guards left, reading over the words once again.
"40. Number 40, you seem to be insisting that "You're Climin?"
Climin moved her head forward, unsure where to speak into.
"But I am! I don't understand any of this."
"Well, would you prefer me call you Climin?"
"Yes, please."
The girl adjusted her glasses, seeing that the number 40 seemed to be in distress. Was it her who was wrong? The file was confusing, but she looked ahead, seeing the black-haired girl fidgeting and sweating, stress visible in her eyes.
"Well, I am Pleta, I'll be talking to you and comforting you for you time here, Climin."
"Oh, Alright..."
Climin looked a bit less stressed, still looking around anxiously as she sat.
"So, why do you think that you're "Climin?"
"I don't know, it's just... it's the only thing I know. I remember a few people, but they called me Climin. Why do you think that isn't my name?"
"Because it says in your file, everything you've ever done that your name is-"
"I don't need to hear it."
Climin cut off Pleta swiftly, almost like she was scared of that other name.
"So, why do you think you're here?"
"I... I dont know. I just woke up and nobody would believe I was Climin, and they took me here."
"Well... I believe I must go now. See you next time... Climin."
Pleta stood up, taking her clipboard in her hand and walking out, as the guards came back in and dragged Climin back away.
She sat on the ground once again hearing a slight ringing sound in the distance as it became louder and louder.
The red light of the flashing alarm bathed her on and off, as a loud blaring began to ring through the padded room. She looked around panicked, seeing running guards outside her small window in the cell, made of unbreakable metal bars too high to reach. She looked back up at the alarm, and made a decision to try and climb up to it.
The crackle of fire became closer, and she could hear screams as it enveloped things outside her cell.
She started to make her way up the wall, grabbing the mattress-like padding with her hands and using it to hold herself up, beginning to scale the wall.
Screams of children rang through her head, even though there were no children in the place she was at.
The fiery furnace begged to swallow her, but she brung herself higher, the voices in her head screaming,
"CLIMIN, HIGHER!"
She reached to the top of the wall, seeing the alarm across from her.Climin felt the heat under her, bracing herself as she leaped through the air, hands outstretched as she grabbed and broke the alarm, taking a piece of glass in her hand and seeing the shards around her, blood dripping in the air from her hand as she turned to the ground, panicked as she fell.
And then she woke up.
