So I was bored yesterday and actually decided to do art!

Long ago, when the BeetleWing's separated to different continents because of mind-controlled plants, a lone group of them was cut off and flew to this new, unnamed continent to scout the area for their commander for places to stay. When they didn't come back, their commander assumed that they were all dead.
And thus, the Weevilwings came to be.

They used to have many animus's, but soon all of the dragons with a lot of animus blood potential began to die.
(Pure natural selection and luck)
So their number of animus's dropped greatly. To this day they still don't know that animus's could have animals children of a good animus bloodline.

Their colors are mostly browns, pale yellows, dark reds, pale oranges, etc. some have red and green markings, though.
(Every dragon is 'dull' to match their surroundings, or they are darker in color)

WeevilWing's lost the ability to fly hundreds of years ago due to their luxurious, completely ground dwelling lifestyle. But after they had completely lost their wings did they miss flying so dearly, and a great animus (who is still alive, being 123 years old) titled Animus BrownJaw gave them the gift of 'wings' that are gifted to them after a trial, easily able to be taken on and off.

This was my first idea of their king, which kind of stuck.
He is the one who led the scout party, and with animus's at his pleasure he decided that he wasn't done yet. Older than DarkStalker himself, this dragon is a living legend for the WeevilWing's.

They only see him in his smaller form, and only when he decides to will he ever bring his soul back to his older form.

His eyes in his big form are always staring ahead, himself near turning into the earth itself.
I decided to get rid of the hind legs later on.

He believes that his sole purpose, and somewhat of his curse, is to die at his kingdoms arms. But he doesn't have any descendants, and he hasn't found another dragon to rule so he will continue to wait until he can die at the arms of the earth dragon herself in peace.

Oh yeah, they believe in the life dragon (who gives you life and a body to later take it back to keep to herself, you are out in there without a soul and leave with one through life experiences. Children are mourned greatly because they never got that chance to have a soul.
She is the moon and you will join her as a star)
The war dragon (causes anything that will make you die other than earth and water as payment to her sister, usually shown through other dragons, said to 'take over' their thoughts when you kill another dragon)
The earth dragon (made the earth, anything earthly that killed you means that she is doing her sister life a favor)
The water dragon (made the water, same as earth but water)
And the mother dragon (forged the sky and lassoed the sun. She is as old as time itself, and birthed the other four dragons)

The "father" dragon is said to have evaporated into the wind. Time, they say, doesn't affect him and he moves freely through the ages. He is the one that makes prophecy's and visions and gifts you most powers that don't fit into the other roles like their illusions and size manipulation. Density control is considered earth dragons gift.
They say they don't get his prophecy's ever since he left their side anymore, but it was really them not getting the NightWing blood.
If they saw NightWings they would consider them children of the father dragon himself.

They often have mutations due to their serious inbreedings on the scout missions. So many things may vary from dragon to dragon' especially patterns.

Classes.
The top class is King ThinLegs himself.
The over class is considered high officials, and the King's second hand. The highest a dragon can be.
The top class is lower officials, business dragons, and overly respected dragons like 'heroes' by doing good deeds.
The middle class is wealthy dragons and their children, who are immediately put into this category. Also soldiers are put here, but they don't have many.
The low class are the vagrants and dragons who choose to stay in the colony. Usually have jobs, just low paying ones and either a small hut of no hut at all. Usually have they Hunter's job.
The shallow class are for criminals, etc. nobody cares for this class, just don't be in it is the goal.

You are born into your class, but can rank up and derank as you grow older.
The ranker is a over classman and he is the dragon that gives you your rank if there are any concerns or arguments. Extremely respected dragon.

Where?
Found in tropical places that are usually overly hot. Take Florida as an example. Jungles and rainforests are common there. Their continent doesn't have a name since they haven't grasped the idea of there being more dragons. It's just 'the continent'. Deserts and Savannah's are also somewhat common there, and move through the ages.

Tongues

Two tongues exist, and neither is the one the two other continents use - Up tongue and Down tongue.
Only high officials and officials or any dragon born into a high position can speak High tongue, since it is the tongue of the king since he doesn't know low tongue.
Some lower classes can know this tongue but it's considered a public shame for a low class to speak it. It's like showing off that you failed to do your life purpose and dragons will judge you hard for it.
