So little backstory:

Sans and Papyrus were found by royal guards and sent to the king to entertain him

Asgore was not that kind

Asgore ended up killing Papyrus, making sans go slightly insane

And Sans is planning to overthrow asgore to become king next and also maybe marry Toriel
