Denis and Charlie to Will: Denis and Charlie grew up hating assassins. Assassins are universally hated and are all seen as murderous thieves who do it purely for money and sport. Because of this, they'd jump the gun and thinking of Will as evil. If they were never taught to hate assassins they'd meet Will in a good first impression. (Psychics come from the Homeland of tideborns which are home to assassins. Since psychics are mostly female, female tideborns aren't seen as 'Evil' unless one gives a hint they're actually an assassin. Even if a psychic is boy they'd get mistaken for an assassin)

Denis and Charlie: They come from Plume City which is home to winged elves (Archers and clerics). They've been friends ever since they were babies and are best friends. They eventually left Plume City to travel places since they got bored of being in such a boringly peaceful place from birth to the age of twenty. They flew to Etherblade, Homeland of wizards and blademasters. It's here they saw Ulia, someone they knew in Plume City. Ulia told them she would be planning to apprehend an assassin, they wanted to help but she flew off to do it on her own.

Ulia to Charlie and Denis: Ulia is an archer from Plume City. Charlie and Denis never liked spending time with her due to her lusty attitude but they agree with her racism to assassins. (I'll explain her character eventually)

Ulia to Will: Ulia isn't racist to Assassins because of the rumors but she's racist because she loves knowing she can abuse them verbally or physically with no consequences. Assassins are also being wanted dead or alive and she gladly takes the job. That's how she met Will. She found him wandering the harshlands near Etherblade ready to go to a large kingdom named Archosaur to live there. She sprouts her wings and attempts to kidnap him or kill if she must.
