Happy- wait wait, no, I'll save it for the actual Valentine's Day drawing, I just have to resist the urge to actually write it.

So anyways, a while ago I decided to watch a Be More Chill animatic made by Ryuskii, I then decided to hear the actual song and I immediately thought

"This would make a great drawing idea for The Gatekeepers."

So immediately I got to work on it but there were some details in the drawing I couldn't do on paper so I ended up just doing it digitally.

So the idea behind this happened when I was thinking about Richard's role in The Gatekeepers and how he helped. In the book it says that Richard was passing by Omega One, heard Matt, and saved in. In the book he saves Matt two times actually, so if he didn't save Matt then the Matt's previous life would step in but even so there is still that other time where his life was also in danger in the same book. No Matt means no five, no five means the Old ones win, Old ones winning is basically the death of the planet. Pretty much the whole situation bundled into the drawing.

While making this I could imagine The Nexus making a memorial for them but in a abandoned house. Richard would investigate to get a story but along the way he sees the ghost of the five. Later he sees the pictures of them in a room and he recognizes Matt and starts apologizing since he thinks it's his fault for not believing him, he even remembers what Matt said when he said "But if one day I'm floating across the river dead I hope it's worth investigating."

I'm kinda happy on how it turn out although I could have made them look more ghost like, also I could have done a better pose for Richard but I ended up just leaving it like that.

So yeah, that's all I have to say for this, it did take a long time but it was worth it.

So big news, I started a new book and it's called Ask The Gatekeepers, I love the series and there's nothing you can do to stop me, now is it going to be like the other ask books where I abandon them, if no one asks questions then yes but I'm hoping it's going to be a no, this is the cover
