K, so Shipsrlife2 did a tutorial on her art book #2 (totally go check it out, it's super good!!) and I wanted to do one, also. It's gonna be formatted like hers: Sketch in one part, inking and coloring in another.

Also, my drawing style/tactic is kind of unconventional, so if you wanna replicate this, you can draw some parts how you want to.

K, here we go.

As far as pencils go, I just use a basic mechanical pencil, no fancy art tools:

(The green thing is technically a grip, but it's a piece of a fish tank bubbler that broke, so I shoved it on my pencil)

Step 1: Draw the neck and shoulders (I start with this step cause it helps me size the head)

Step 2: Draw in the chin and sides of the face (you can shape it how you want, I just use a wide/curved V shape)

Step 3: Draw the hairline (it helps me to shape the top of the head. Also ignore eraser lines, I tried something and it didn't work. Double also, the line down the front is optional. It's if you want over the shoulder hair.)

Step 4: Finish the bust and draw top shirt line (as in, extend the arms and give her curves)

Step 5: Add more clothing details and hair details (erase lines as needed)

Step 6: Nose and mouth of the face (everyone has different ways to do it, this is how I do it)

Step 7: Start the eyes (two circles and then draw points on the corners for half the whites)

Step 8: Draw the other corners and fill in the pupils (don't forget the light spot)

Step 9: Add the iris lines, eyelids, and eyelashes (I find lashes bring female drawings together nicely)

Step 10: Add eyebrows and facial details (I used my Gamora Pop for reference)

Now, if you're not inking or coloring, just shade as necessary and you're done. However, next chapter will be inking and coloring.
