Epilogue

      The air ruffled my dark, brown hair and my breath came out in small, puffs of white. A light snow had found itself falling from the sky  and a street lamp flickered over head. In the distance you could here a beep of a car horn, the sweet sound of a babies cry and the small jingle of bells.
     However, I knew better. Despite the calming melodies of the world around me there was someone dying. Someone I held close in my heart. Someone I loved.
