*Sighs* ( Not Art)

I'm writing this here because I'm so confused.

[Warning, if you haven't watched X-Men, this will be extremely confusing, along with containing spoilers. Read at your own risk.]

I just looked up the official chronological X-men timelines, since I didn't really know what exactly they were before.
X-Men movies release dates always seem a little odd, for example, Apocalypse came out about two months ago, the sequel to Apocalypse was released years ago. Confusing, right?
Well... Days Of Future Past completely erases X2, X-Men, and Last Stand's events from existence, along with the future part of Days Of Future past. Therefore, Jean and The Phoenix never died, and Jean never became the The Phoenix, along with the creation of the Sentinels. Therefore the war in Days Of Future didn't exist, Magneto never died, Storm and Bobby never died, but Magneto almost killing the president and the government officials on live television along with Mystique becoming Striker and taking Wolverine happened.
So... That doesn't make any sense. If Days Of Future Past takes away X2, X-Men, and Last Stand, why do First Class, and Wolverine's movies still exist? For that to make sense, everything before 1973 would have to have never happened.
Meaning the events in Apocalypse still happened even though that doesn't make full sense either.
We still have a gap of Wolverine's past missing too.
I'm hoping the next Wolverine movie and Gambit will explain all of it? Because right now, none of this makes any sense at all...
